Canon India organised an exclusive photography workshop for women across major metros in the country, namely Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and New Delhi. The workshop was conducted by professional photographers who are associated with niche genres like Child, Studio/Advertising, Wildlife, and Mother/Baby. The workshop was attended by over 400 participants across all four cities. Each participant was also given a photography handbook to enhance their skills event further.

As part of its commitment to empower women, Canon India, a leader in digital imaging solutions organised exclusive photography workshop for women across major metros (Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore & New Delhi).
 
The workshop was conducted by professional photographers, like, Anushri Kumar, Anuja Jain, Anuradha Marwah and Amrita Samant, who exemplify successful women associated with niche genres of photography like Child, Studio/Advertising, Wildlife and Mother/Baby, respectively. They stand as testimonies of magnetized skills and empowerment, and their unique sense of creativity is inspiring and enriching for all.
 
The workshop was planned holistically so as to cover diverse topics like portraitures, food, scenery and jewellery photography. Participants were taught and briefed on the functionality of DSLR cameras and techniques to click the above mentioned topics. Apart from learning to click photographs a click and print activity was also conducted.
 
Commenting on the workshop, Mr. Andrew Koh, Vice President of Consumer Imaging and Information Centre, Canon India said, “We are happy to observe the growing interest in photography by women segment in India and unleashing their creative self. By organizing exclusive workshops for women it widens the appeal of this creative indulgence. The workshop was attended by over 400 participants across all four cities. It helped women to take control of their own styles of capturing image. A photography handbook was also given to every participant to enhance their photography learning skills.
