Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality comes together in the Lenovo Glass C220.  At CES 2018, Lenovo unveiled a smart glass unit for industry workers to augment their abilities on the shopfloor. The Glass C220 consists of a glass unit and a pocket unit and can identify real-life objects using machine learning.

The Glass C220 weighs 60 grams and runs on Android. In one eye, it shows augmented reality while the other eye can keep focus on the real world. The Glass C220 has multiple applications across a variety of scenarios.

The Glass works on the Lenovo NDB AH Cloud 2.0 software platform which is based on AR, big data and AI. The glass can gather information from its field of view and provide step by step direction for repair, identify a malfunctioning equipment and provide trouble-shooting. The cloud platform can leveraged by the glass to augment the abilities and awareness of industry workers. It works on the concept of an augmented human, and is an ideal device for remote maintainence, 3D diagnosis and smart tourism.

The Lenovo Glass C220 has a video communication technology that supports on-to-many as well as two-way video. Users can also edit instructions and projects without the need of programming knowledge. The AI can detect multiple real-time objects simultaneously after being trained to do so.
