The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is the first major update for the OS and its isn’t free from flaws. In its Microsoft Answers support website, the company said that it has received complaints of Windows 10 freezing after installing the Anniversary Update. It notes that this issue was seen on systems where the OS was stored on the solid-state drive (SSD), while apps and data was stored on a separate drive. The company also said that it is looking for a permanent solution to the problem and has provided users with a temporary work around till then.
