iBall launches hybrid dual connector pen-drive

iBall has launched a new hybrid dual connector pen drive that works as a pen drive and a microUSB connector.

iBall has launched an innovative new product, called the hybrid dual connector pen drive. The dual connector flash drive comes with standard USB 2.0 on one side and a microUSB connector on the other.

The pen drive works on mobile phones or tablet PCs supporting OTG (On-The-Go Function). While the other end can be connected as a standard USB 2.0 port that can be used to connect, transfer or copy data from PCs and laptops. The pen drive weighs just 10 grams and is easy to use at home or office. The device is ideal for working professionals who need access to multiple gadgets.

The new hybrid flash drive is available in 8GB and 16GB variants and offers dual connectors. It has a durable aluminum alloy casing that protects the pen drive against accidental falls. The iBall Hybrid dual connector pen drive is available for Rs 599 for the 8GB version and Rs. 799 for 16GB version and comes with a two years’ warranty in India.

Commenting on the launch of the Hybrid Dual Pen drive, Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director of iBall said, “We’re increasingly seeing consumers who use multiple gadgets. So whether using a phone or a tablet or a laptop, iBall Hybrid pen drive with its dual connector can be used with each of these devices. We’re proud that our offering of Hybrid pen drive with dual connector is the first such in the country!”

iBall had recently launched the Andi 4Di budget smartphone with a large 4-inch IPS WVGA display screen and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The device has a powerful 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and runs on ICS OS. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera for self portrait. The budget iBall Andi 4Di is available for Rs. 5,995 in India.
