Cooler Master releases high-end fanless power supplies for gamers

When we talk about high-end gaming desktop systems, the most essential but most ignored components of the same are the power supplies. They are really tough to get excited about, no matter how many features they are packed with. However, Cooler Master's new Silent Pro Hybrid Fanless series seems quite alluring for high end gaming enthusiasts.

Per say, the power supplies aren’t entirely fanless, what it means is that it has a fanless mode that can be used to minimise the decibel value of the machine in use. Barring at the threshold of 200 W where it kicks in the fan and adding to it is the 90 per cent efficiency, fully modular cables and a control panel that allows you to control the speed of your system fans manually and you are looking at quite the compelling product for the DIY desktop enthusiast.

As most have you already guessed, all these attractive features do comes for a price. Cooler Master is offering three different models: 850W, 1050W, and 1300W that range in the price segment of Rs. 9,500-14,700, which is in itself a sizable chunk to drop on any component. Cooler Master will be shipping this month to Asia and US, alongside Europe to follow in November.
