HIGHLIGHTS

AMD has unveiled three new graphics cards - Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT

The new GPUs feature faster clock speeds and faster GDDR6 memory

The new cards are available starting May 10, 2022

AMD has bolstered the ranks of the Radeon RX 6000 family of graphics cards with the including of three new GPUs – RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT. The new graphics cards feature faster clock speeds, faster GDDR6 memory chips and enhanced software and firmware than their older counterparts. The core configurations have not changed in the sense that these are more or less the same cards as the RX 6900 XT, RX 6700 XT and RX 6600 XT. There could also be instances where users might be able to flash the firmware from the newer graphics cards onto the older counterparts and get a free upgrade. We’ll know if this is possible in the coming weeks. As for pricing, there is no official word about the Indian pricing yet.

Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT and 6650 XT Specifications

Here are the specifications of the refreshed GPUs. We can see improved clock speeds across all three SKUs although the magnitude of improvement seems to be highest with the RX 6950 XT sending it ahead of the NVIDIA RTX 3090 as per AMD’s slides.
