Realme is gearing up for its upcoming flagship phone- the Realme GT 8 Pro. After several leaks and teasers, the company has officially confirmed the design with a customisable, swappable camera deco on the rear panel of the phone. The handset is all set to debut in October in its home country, China, followed by a global launch. While the India launch timeline is still under wraps, the handset has reportedly appeared on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) listing with a model number RMX5210, suggesting an imminent launch. The device is expected to ship with similar features as its Chinese counterpart.

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro.

Realme GT 8 Pro design

Realme’s latest teaser confirms that the GT 8 Pro will feature a detachable camera module, enabling users to swap the back camera housing to match their personal style. The teaser video highlights three camera deco styles: a classic round module, a square design, and a futuristic, robot-inspired, irregular layout.

Realme GT 8 Pro specifications

The upcoming GT 8 Pro is confirmed to feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, dubbed the “Ultra Eye,” capable of high-detail zoom shots. However, Realme is keeping details of the secondary sensors under wraps for now.

Performance-wise, the Realme GT 8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with Realme’s in-house R1 display chip, offering a dual-chip setup to enhance gaming and visual output. The device will also feature a 2K 144Hz AMOLED display, co-developed with BOE, using Q10+ material for better brightness and eye comfort. It will likely offer up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.

Backing all this hardware is a 7,000mAh+ battery, which supports 120W wired fast charging. Other confirmed features include stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.
