Realme is gearing up to introduce its flagship GT 8 Pro smartphone in the coming weeks. Ahead of the launch, Realme has already confirmed the partnership with Japanese camera maker Ricoh, promising a good photography upgrade. The company also confirmed that the GT 8 Pro will offer a modular rear camera system, allowing users to swap the camera island’s design with Ricoh-crafted options.

While the exact launch date remains under wraps, here is everything that we know about the Realme GT 8 Pro, including its launch timeline, specifications, and price range.

Realme GT 8 Pro specs

The Realme GT 8 Pro is said to feature a 2K 10-bit LTPO BOE flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and could be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It may ship with a 7,000 mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. It could also come with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As for the camera, the Realme GT 8 Pro could come with a 200MP periscope camera and a 50MP primary Sony sensor with OIS. It will also feature a 50MP ultrawide sensor.

On the photography front, Ricoh’s GR Mode will offer a fast-start interface, the GR shutter sound, preset Snap Mode focus options, and dual focal lengths (28mm for wide shots and 40mm for closer details). The update also brings five classic Ricoh GR color tones, including Standard, Positive Film, Negative Film, Monotone, and High-Contrast B&W, with customisable options.

Realme GT 8 Pro launch timeline and price

If the reports are believed to be true, the Realme GT 8 Pro could launch between November 10 and November 12. However, the company has not confirmed the exact date at the moment. Speaking of the price, the device may cost around Rs 65,000 in the Indian market.
