iQOO 15 is all set to make its debut in its home country, China, very soon. Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed additional details about its upcoming flagship, which will succeed the iQOO 13. The company has confirmed that the device will feature a next-generation ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that promises faster and more secure unlocking, even with wet fingers.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15 will feature a seven-cell Blue Ocean battery design, compliant with the new Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0 standard to improve battery efficiency, as confirmed by iQOO’s product manager. Here’s everything we know about the iQOO 15.
The iQOO 15 is rumoured to feature a 6.85-inch QHD AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits, making it one of the brightest displays on a smartphone. It is also said to include an anti-reflective coating similar to Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max. The phone is expected to offer IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and better thermal management with an advanced 8K vapour chamber cooling system.
Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and fast USB 3.2 connectivity. The camera setup is expected to include a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, ensuring sharp photos and detailed zoom shots. Further, it may pack a 7,000mAh battery.
The iQOO 15 is expected to debut in China in October, followed by an India launch in November 2025. However, the official details are yet to be confirmed.
As for pricing, the iQOO 15 could start at under Rs 59,999, which is slightly above the iQOO 13’s launch price of Rs 54,999.
