Chinese smartphone maker is now all set to introduce its iQOO 15 in the home country next week. The upcoming flagship could bring some big improvements, specifically in performance and thermal management. The company has confirmed that the device will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and iQOO Q3 computing chip. This means all your multitasks and gaming will be easily managed.
While other details remain under the wraps, here is everything that we know so far about the iQOO 15 India release timeline, specifications and price range.
The iQOO 15 will launch in China on October 20 along with the iQOO Pad 5e, iQOO Watch GT 2, and iQOO TWS 5. However, the India launch timeline remains under the wraps. If the reports are believed to be true, the iQOO 15 could debut between November 15 and November 25. The official announcement is still awaited.
The device will sport a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung “Everest” display with a 144Hz refresh rate, supporting up to 6,000 nits peak brightness. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and feature the company’s in-house Q3 gaming chip, designed to deliver higher frame rates and smoother gameplay. iQOO has confirmed that the smartphone will also include wireless charging and a battery capacity exceeding 7,000mAh, making it one of the largest among modern flagships.
One of the biggest highlights is the new 8K VC Dome cooling system, which iQOO claims is its most advanced yet. The vapour chamber is reportedly the largest ever used by the company and promises 47% better thermal efficiency compared to its predecessor.
As for the camera, the device may feature a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor along with 50MP periscope telephoto lens. However, the exact details are not confirmed yet.
The iQOO 15 could be priced at Rs 59,999, a Rs 5,000 price hike compared to its predecessor, the iQOO 13. It may launch in different colours, including the Lingyun colour. The company has not teased all the colour options yet.
