Apple has announced that it is hosting a launch event on September 14, as previously rumoured. The Cupertino giant has sent out invites for the “California Streaming” event where it is expected to launch the new iPhones, Apple Watch and more. If you choose to believe the recent leaks and rumours, the upcoming iPhone 13 series is looking like old wine in a new bottle. In that, it is rumoured to bring in some upgrades in the form of a high refresh rate display and other improvements while keeping the design the same as the iPhone 12.
Apple has announced that it is hosting an event on September 14 at 10:30 PM IST (10 AM PDT). The event will be live-streamed on apple.com, Apple TV and YouTube. Apple is largely expected to launch the new iPhones which are rumoured to be simply called the iPhone 13 series. Alongside, we could also see the company unveil the Apple Watch Series 7 and AirPods 3. The iPhone 13 series has been the centre of many leaks and rumours throughout the year and on September 14, Apple will officially launch the new phones.
Some of the biggest upgrades and improvements coming to the iPhone are said to be features like support for 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, smaller notch cutout, always-on display, astrophotography mode, bigger batteries and fast charging support.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is rumoured to be available in 128GB/512GB/1TB storage options starting at $1,099 while the iPhone 13 Pro is expected to be priced starting at $999.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 could be offered with 64GB/128GB/256GB storage capacities starting at $799. The compact iPhone 13 Mini is said to be priced starting at $699.
We don’t know the exact sale dates but the new iPhones are expected to go on sale from September 24.
