The Amazon Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker was first showcased on December 4 and is now available to customers. The speaker is available for Rs 4,999. The smart speaker comes with a fabric design and 360 degrees sound. The speaker has a 4800mAh battery that the company claims has a 10-hour battery life (up to 11 hours of standby time). So you can unplug the device and carry it with you when you step out and need a Bluetooth speaker with you on the go. With a simple tap of the power button, a user can see the current battery level indicated by the 4 LEDs.
Since this is an Alexa powered speaker, users can control the speaker using just their voice, just like they would any other Alexa enabled smart speaker. Users can stream music to the speaker from apps like Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Gaana by simply asking for a song, artist, or genre. Users can also control the volume of the speaker by using their voice.
Using the Amazon Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker customers can also control compatible smart home devices, answer questions, read the news, check the weather, and more. Put simply, you can do everything on the Amazon Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker that you would on any other Alexa powered speaker.
When it comes to the design, the Amazon Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker has a hockey puck-like design but is slightly thicker. At the back, it has a micro USB port for charging. On the top it has the microphone on/off button, an action button and an LED indicator. On the front, it has the volume buttons, battery indicator and the power on/off button. The speaker weighs 448 grams. For connectivity, it supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth with A2DP but does not have a 3.5mm port.
