PlayStation and Nodwin gaming have announced the return of the PlayStation India Cup this year. This will be its fourth edition and the tournament will be featuring EA Sports’ FC 26 exclusively on the PlayStation 5. The console esports tournament further has a Rs 4,00,000 prize pool and a live grand finale set to take place at Delhi Comic Con from December 5 to 7, 2025.

The PlayStation India Cup has become one of the few dedicated stages for console gamers in the country, offering serious competition for EA FC enthusiasts who play on PS5. This year’s tournament follows a familiar structure, starting with daily online qualifiers and playoffs before leading into the live finals in Delhi. The top eight players from across India will earn a chance to compete in front of thousands of Comic Con visitors for the national title and cash rewards.

PlayStation India Cup returns at Comic Con

The India Cup’s return to Delhi Comic Con is no coincidence. Last year’s finals attracted huge crowds, thanks to the combination of competitive gameplay, live commentary, and PlayStation’s immersive pavilion. According to NODWIN Gaming, the 2025 edition will expand on that success with a 40,000 sq. ft. Gaming Arena, offering visitors even more interactive experiences and a front-row seat to the country’s growing console esports scene.

“Console esports in India remains a premium niche, and the PlayStation India Cup with EAFC captures that perfectly,” said Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming. He added, “Delhi Comic Con, where our journey began over a decade ago, provides the ideal stage to bring together fans of both pop culture and competitive gaming. It’s a true celebration of Delhi’s vibrant fandom and the growing console esports community in India.”

Along with the Rs 4 lakh prize pool, all eight finalists will receive official PlayStation merchandise. The tournament will also be supported by influencer-driven content, live streams, and weekly updates, keeping fans engaged online in the lead-up to the grand finale.

How to register and other details

Registrations for the PlayStation India Cup open on October 8, 2025. Players can participate in the daily online qualifiers directly from their PS5 consoles by heading to the “Events” or “Tournaments” section on the dashboard and selecting the PlayStation India Cup FC 26 listing. The daily cups will run until November 10, giving players just over a month to secure their spot in the playoffs.

For many players, the India Cup represents not just a tournament, but a rare opportunity to showcase their skills on a national stage.
