Canon has added a new product to its EOS DSLR range with the new EOS 200D II. The new camera is the successor to the EOS 200D and is also claimed to be the company’s most compact and lightweight camera in its DSLR segment. It is powered by the Canon’s DIGIC 8 imaging processor and sports an APS-C size (equivalent) imaging sensor that has approx 24.1 MP resolution and is equipped with a 3-inch Vari-angle LCD screen that supports touch input. The EOS 200D II will go on sale in India this week priced at Rs 52,995 with the EF-S18-55 IS STM Kit and at Rs 65,995 for the EF-S18-55 IS STM + EF-S55-250 IS STM double zoom kit.

The new Canon camera will also come equipped with Creative Assist and smooth skin features, which are said to be a first for an EOS DSLR. The EOS 200D II has the ISO range between 100 and 25600, which is also expandable to 51200. It weighs 449g and as per Canon, the continuous shooting speed for viewfinder shooting is maximum approx 5 shots/sec and Live View shooting is max approx 5.0 shots/sec (One-Shot) or 3.5 shots/sec (Servo AF). it also comes equipped with the Dual pixel CMOS Auto Focus system and features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. One can equip it with SD, SDHC, SDXC or a UHS-1 card.
