एलजी V40 ThinQ

it is one of the best phones in the market I have no words to describe its hi -fi quad dac for music listeners having expensive headphones with 50+ ohm impedance, the dac itself is worth 12000 if purchased separately, photo quality lovely I was using I phone 7+ then OPPO findx but this phone is much better LG has never advrtised their phones aggressively and so we people end up buying flimsy Samsung (my note 8 broke its glass when fallen from 3ft) My spouse broke her 6+ edge phones glass aburuptly without any reason causing us to spend 10k for glass relpacement. It has great picture quality way better than iphones and Samsung with tripple camera some of the photos are attached here .

I'm using this mobile for 10days. Here is my review. pros: 1.camera is excellent,day light shots are very impressive.potrait shots are also very good wide angle and ultra wide are superb. 2.Display is awesome, you can fee the quality while you are watching at high level. 3.sound- sound also very good boom bom speakers are loud.they produce punchy bass 4. 3.5mm jack lg is known for its jack super quality sound through jack if you have high end earphones you will feel the every detail of music. 5.water resistant 6.build quality- looks premium, excellent marvellous. 7.smooth performance 8.perfect falgship cons: 1.average battery life 2.signal reception isn't good. 3.sometimes im not able to hear others voice over phone(at starting, later it was fine)and now it is ok. 4.there isn't built app lock.if you want you must download third party app. 5.no stereo speakers overall phone is very good at this price(30000). you can't buy this much feauters mobile around 30000. if you like my review give thumbs up thank you.

No other phone can match the sound quality of this one. If you're an audiophile like me and have the right equipment to enjoy Hi-Res music go no further this is the smartphone that you'll ever need. What you need: 1. This phone 2. A high impedance earphone/headphone 3. Buy Poweramp/JetAudio/PlayerPro (or other player of your choice that can handle Hi-Res audio files). You can use the stock Music player by LG also but it doesn't have all advanced features to tweak your output. 4. Buy Hi-Res music files only. (Don't go with stupid 320kbps lossy sh*t, I'll recommend FLAC 24Bit/96kHz or similar, Do not go below 16Bit/44.1khz I beg you) 5. Turn on HiFi DAC and tune it as you love your audio. I usually turn off DTS:X 3D, but that depends on your taste, I leave it upto you. 6. Immerse into the music. The looks and build quality is one of the finest out there. The screen is so crystal clear and crispy you will hardly be able to turn your eyes away. Battery life could be better, but I guess you can't get everything.

Best in Class mobile from LG. I got this product at the best price for 28K in Bigbillion Sale.The phone is best in its class, it has 845 snapdragon processor,water resistance,it has 5 cameras. Camera features the phone gets 5 star rating it has many new camera features, camera image clarity is awesome.captured the images with other brand phones of 48megapixel cameras but LG V40 camera was the best image captured. This device OLED display for gaming and movies its the best phone. Phone is slime and very light weight,it very stylish in its looks. But i was disappointed with Flipkart packing, they just wrapprd up the phone with a normal cover and delivered. no bubble wrap or no protection during delivery.Flipkart please take care of Packing. And LG thank you for your Flagship model LG V40.kudos to team LG

When lg launched the first v series phone v10, from that day I've decided one day I'm going to buy a v series phone because of that sabre dac, secondary display n swappable battery.. So, here I bought lg v40.. Now coming to phone.. 1. Build quality and asthetic of the phone is really great..Its quite of a looker n Platinum color looks good.. Also phone is water and dust resistant.. 6.4 inch display is perfect size for me. It fits on my hand perfectly and easily usable one handed.. Oh i have big hands.. 2. Display: true blacks of oled screen.. you cant differentiate when the black border of the phone ends and the display take ups.. punchy and vibrant colors.. Also brighness is good but not as good as g7.. that 1000 nits of g7 is one of its kind.. there are so many profiles availabe to choose and you can also customize the colors of the display.. Display can play hdr certified content on youtube and netflix.. I dont think prime video supports hd content on v40.. When you start to watch anything on netflix on this phone its pretty hard to go back to other phones or to your laptop.. However color accuracy is a myth on this phone and who cares for it btw.. 3. Audio: in one word Incredible.. My main reason of buying lg phones.. Only brand who gives the priority to audio.. It has quad dac by ess sabre and precisely ES9218P dac which provides 2 vrms output and deliver up to 130 dB SNR and -114 dB Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise (THD+N) ensuring audiophile quality sound all the way to the headphones.. Whoever is looking for on the go (portable) device and dont want to carry their dac and amp with them wherevr they go, this is the best they can get.. It is tuned by meridian audio and i like their tunning compared to g7, g7 was bit of harsh to my ears n that hissiness gone with v40.. volume level depends on the impedence of your headphones, so whoever is complaining about low volumes(I'm not) can put the phone one aux mode or high impednce mode by the aux cable and impedence adapter.. Go to xda or headfi for the tutorial.. Speaker on this phone is a disappoinment when you come from g7.. that boombox speaker of g7 is way ahead of the competition and twice the loud if you put it on table.. It uses both earpiece and bottom speaker but still no match to g7.. call quality is superb on both speaker and earpiece.. 4. Camera: Do their jobs.. still not got the chance to taste the camera that much but initial impressions are great. Lg pioneered the wide angle camera and also the main sensor of the phone got updated to bigger sensor compared to g7 and the the telephoto cam is bonus.. It has the best manual mode for both videos and photos and there's no match to it, period.. Video quality is excellent for both day and lowlight.. If you are a kind of a person who took a lot of videos on their phone, you should consider this gem.. it can capture hdr videos and can record hifi audio too.. - Front camera was never lg's cup of tea and quality is okayish, when enough light they captured good and detailed photos, quality degrades when the light goes down.. Pro tip:keep display flash always on indoor and at night.. wide angle is bonus here but not as wide as pixel 3 xl.. some gcam ports work on v40 but still wish it can get its own dedicated gcam port like g7.. 5.Battery: typical one day use.. getting between 4.30 to 6.00 hours of sot.. Not good not bad.. I kept display brightness mostly above 70%, location n aod always on.. Minimum brightness was okayish..you can play 3 hours of pubg in one charging cycle at its best settings.. 6.Performance: Day to day tasks buttery smooth.. can play games like asphalt 9 , shadow fight 3 with ease, without any drop in frame rates.. but things get worse when you play pubg.. phone heats up quickly and frame rates start to drop and makes gameplay choppy if you play it at hdr and ultra frame rate settings.. also forget to play pubg while charging the phone.. I dont have any of these issues on g7.. I think they put some thermal restraints on this phone or pubg was not optimised for this phone or with updates pubg becoming worse.. when you change graphics to smooth and frame rates to extreme then my friend you are in heaven.. no more drops in frame rates and game play was extremely smooth.. also feel some stutters and lags sometimes while browsing in chrome.. other than those things v40 is beast.. Software update on lg is meh.. I dont care much about updates since android became stagnant after marshmallow but come on lg atleast security patches are appreciated.. Still running on Dec, 2018 security patch.. Ui of the phone is no concern, you can customise it the way you want since it's android.. Horizontal tab switcher is really faster n better compared to vertical menu of stock android.. I'm missing the led notification but aod works great and there's sidelight too in notification settings.. Overall very happy with the phone.. It's not ideal buy in mid 2019, whoever is planning to buy this phone wait for lg g8 or v50..

Great hardware and specs software support from lg could be a lot better though still on dec 2018 security patch
