Very good product. Only concern is drivers for the hardware. Toshiba dooesn't provide driver cd with this laptop. You can always download the drivers from toshiba site as per your model number but only for windows 7. Installed Ubuntu 10 version but no driver for lan and wi fi. I will try to install Ubuntu 12 or CentOS latest distribution, hope lan and wifi will work.

Iam 100% satisfied with the laptop . But i donno if they can give me a laptop for 20,000 then why they dont include the most necessary drivers DVD . See guys , In the laptop box there is a paper telling us to download from their website. But that link is broken. Ive searched in google and downloaded a 1000 and 10 of them worked. Still im searching for some drivers like WLAN,LAN,bluetooth and some softwares like toshiba assist.

looks n design : looks decent tops pattern is good but the let down is the absence of indicator for lan and having to use function key combination for everything but you didn't pay for that ! specs n hardware:bb enough for movies music document work and internet and for light games as well. install an extra 2gb ram.it helps. speaker is not that great but a decent one. webcam is a letdown.battery life is decent. drivers : very hard to find the drivers and still I am not able to find the right drivers. performance : windows 7 64 bit gives more battery life than ubuntu 11.10..other than that good performance with both. backpack : very good one.order the laptop with backpack. problems : i'm facing problems with the wifi connection and after 2 months i'm still not able to solve it ! p.s : the packing was great.

excellent service by flipkart. got it on the second day of ordering. As for the laptop, for this price, this is a good buy, but remember there are some cons, 1)The model specs in Toshiba India website is misleading with information. When you see the c665 model in their website, it has wrong tech specs ( hope they are not taking Indian consumers lightly ) 2) I tried installing windows XP thrice but all times it failed to get installed. It gave me a "Blue Screen of Death" Windows XP bug citing some hardware issues.So forcefully I had to install Windows 7 and its installation was like a cheese. 2)The drivers are available only for Windows 7 in Toshiba India website. This makes me wonder if this is a trick to force customers to buy Windows 7 later . Looks like some secret business tactics and cooperation between Microsoft and Toshiba. 3) Would have been great if a DVD with all drivers were also provided. It was a pain to download several different drivers from the website and finally get it working. 4) Tried Ubuntu 11.10 and it worked like a charm. 5) Also no On\Off switch for WLAN, meaning once you install the broadcomm drivers , WiFi is ALWAYS ON and u have to disable the wifi adapter to get the cable LAN working. Finally we can see , Toshiba is trying to make an impression by offering these low cost products with good technology but they should not compensate on customer's satisfaction and make the product service much much better
