The Smartron srt.phone offers a bright display, good build and impressive performance. However, a poor camera, low battery life and heating issues seem to be recurring problems for the manufacturer. We faced these issues in the t.phone too, and Smartron needs to do better to be competitive in the current market.

Smartron Srt.phone was launched in May 2017 & runs on Android 7.0 OS. The Smartphone is available only in one color i.e. Titanium Grey & has a built in fingerprint sensor as the primary security feature, along with the host of connectivity options in terms of 3G, 4G, GPS, Wifi, NFC Bluetooth capabilities. Priced at Rs. 41300 the phone comes in 32GB & 64GB variants.
The Smartphone is powered by 1.8 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Processor. A 4 GB
The Phone comes with a large 3000 mAh battery to support it's 5.5 inch screen with Full HD IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen display having a resolution of 1080 x 1920 at 401 ppi. The screen is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass.

Good for those migrating from feature phone. Not in smartphones class, no work done by developers on UI.
Extremely happy with this phone. Performance - 10/10 Camera- 7/10 Design - 8/10 Sounds - 9/10 Display - 9/10 I have read many reviews that the phone is getting heated while charging.... I didn't experienced it . Killer phone in this price range. Only drawback of this phone is no memory card slot is provided. Those people who are planning to buy a new phone go for it. It's a Indian company. If we started buying made in India products now den it will give them opportunities to develop their R&D industry so that we will get better products in future. BE INDIAN. Got the 64gb version for 9799 on exchange. It was probably the best deal. I can't complain for what I get for the price I paid. Anyway Pros: stock android-very snappy experience. screen quality. sd 652 processor paired with 4gb ram. plenty storage. Good camera in good lighting conditions. Ok speaker but could be better. 3000mah battery with fast charging support. I just wish they release their sources so that development could start right on. Cons: plastic body. top power button ughh. no cases and accessories available as of now. To be honest I bought this phone only because I was getting excellent deal on exchange, I mean 4gb 64gb sd 652 fast charging nfc full hd dual sim usb type c for just 9799. I couldn't say no to that. If there wasn't amy exchamge then I would have went for redmi note 4 but I already have one so this. I recommend to buy 64gb variant only and try to get it on exchange offer it is so much worth the penny.
Exchanged my Yu Yuphoria for Rs.3950 and got this device for Rs.10149 (Rs.100 as pickup charge) I hardly believe I can get such good specifications at such a low price in the near future! Thanks to the additional value for exchange to Flipkart and Smartron. I usually use a smartphone mainly for calling, browsing and value security and privacy. Camera is not a priority for me. So I am satisfied with the, 1. Good build quality. 2. Decent camera 3. Impressive storage (Free storage is 58 GB) 4. Stock Android 7.1.1 and future updates (So Sweet :) ) 5. Blazing performance (SD 652 - Thank you) 6. Big and vibrant display (First time using a 5.5" phone with full HD - I'm loving it) Haven't noticed any major problem with this phone as I have used it for less than 12 hours. Will update soon. Happy for purchasing an amazing Indian product at such an awesome price. Update #1 (10-5-2017): *Touch screen is very much responsive. Even with the lightest touch on the screen, the phone detects it. The physical navigation buttons are also very much responsive. *After playing Asphalt 8 for 30 minutes (at 0% brightness) I began to feel some warmth on the phone display, which is bearable. The phone back waa not that warm as the display. However the fingerprint scanner was warmer than the display! I felt comfortable playing the game for the next 1.5 hours ;).. With everyday usage, the phone doesn't get warm. Maybe because of the plastic back cover. ;) *Battery backup easily lasts a day. On an average, at the end of my day, the battery drops from 100% to 70% against my previous device (Yuphoria 2230mAh) battery drops from 100% to 40%. So I'm very much satisfied. Update #2 (26-5-2017) Smartron forum is very active. Suggestions given by the users were taken into account and they have launched an OTA software update. Received mine yesterday. After the update, * Camera performance has increased * Heating issue (which was not so much already) has been fixed * Android Security patch received (Woohoo!) * Performance and stability tweaks - according to the update.. But I feel the phone is already working fine. Maybe they fixed some bugs which i missed. Happy to know that future updates are getting ready and Glad to have an active forum community. Received a mail confirming my free back cover. They have asked for some details to verify my purchase and to deliver to my address. Soon I will get my free back covers. Finally! :) Update #3 (3-6-2017) Received my free back cover yesterday. Finally! The back cover gives the phone a fresh look:) P.S. I find many negative reviews and ratings for this product solely because the free back cover as part of the promotional offer was not delivered. It's clearly mentioned that the free cover will be shipped separately so wait for it. I believe the review and rating must be a reflection of the product and not for such accessories.. Note: I suggest the phone buyers (of any brand) to be active in their respective smartphone forums. It'll be very helpful to you.
Well I have Redmi note 4 as well, and this phone is definitely better. - Faster Processor, - Faster Charging Battery, qualcom 2.0 - NFC, - Good battery life after update, easily lasts a day and more. - Android Nougat out of box, and monthly updates After the first update as promised, heat is much reduced. Battery backup is also good. Camera is good. Don't know of any reason why someone else will buy something else. Probably the best phone I bought in recent times. And did i tell you this is Indian phone, and Sachin's favorite :).
Really awesome smartphone.. excellent quality. I was worried about the first time to buy this phone which is made in India..but truly it is the best quality of all smartphone in this budget. +Ve: 4gm ram.64 GB Rom, unlimited cloud storage and Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor..gorrilla glass is excellent.. weight 150 g.. OS: Android 7.1.1 and it's upgradeble to Android O beta which is upcoming OS. When you compare interms of price to other mobile like mi note4 , srt is less also mi note 4 processor is 625 only ..when compared to Moto G5 price is 17 k ..we will get this phone within our budget.. Some people writing review has heating issue and camera quality.. but I really oppose those things..because every smartphone performance is dependends on how your usage.. This is made in India..you can actually believe it the quality is excellent..it is the time to avoid China pieces.. -ve: I didn't found any thing..the only thing back cases and covers are not available..but I hope this will coming soon.. Customer care centre needs to place in every popular cities and centers..
Superb phone as per price range. Cons: 1) speaker quality is bad 2) camer quality avrg 3) heating issue. 4) the main reason i bought this phone is. Its sachin's phone. But flipkart dint add sachins autographed back cover in the package. I thing now they had added that offer. It seems sad to me, Being one of the first customer to have SRT.PHONE and couldnt get sachin's back cover. 5) As said above it seems offended being first customer to buy the phone. And not given the extended warranty. 5) its sad that flipkart dint add accessories like cases and screen guard. Hope they will add soon... Overal its an avrage phone...

Pros: 1) very powerful phone and powerful specs 2) only phone with NFC in this price segment. All banks will come with this feature 3) only phone under 15k available for No Cost EMI. 4) It is the only phone comes with fast charging support.. it's really quick charge from 40 to 100% in half and hour. 5) 2 years warranty from smartron no other company will give this. 6) comes with Android 7.0 out of the box also promised to give 2 more Android version updates. 7) very good fingerprint scanner, display and overall build Cons : 1) average rear and selfie camera . 2) average battery life 3) Device get hot while intensive gaming 4) power button placement is not so good difficult to reach it. 5)looks not so premium because of plastic back.
If u use mobile for browing, chatting , calls , banking apps, shopping , payments then without a second thought just buy it. I don't know about playing heavy games. So I won't comment on that. Thank u smartron for building a phone with great quality. We send satellites to Mars but relay so much on Chinese junks. So it's time to encourage our Indian based company.
