The Oppo Reno 2Z is one of the smartphones launched by the Chinese smartphone giant under the Reno 2 series. The smartphone has a rear quad-camera setup and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P90 SoC. The phone has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and has an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the front, there is a pop-up module for the selfie camera. It runs on the company’s proprietary ColorOS which is based on Android 9 Pie. It packs a 4,000mAh battery that is capable of delivering about a day and a half of battery life according to the company. It comes with a 20W charger in the box to top the battery up.
The Oppo Reno 2 is another offering under the Reno series and comes with a shark-fin module that houses the selfie camera, earpiece as well as the secondary microphone. The phone has a quad-rear camera setup and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC.

Oppo Reno 2Z boasts of a quad-camera setup which includes a 48 MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture; an 8 MP wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 119-degree field of view. There is a 2 MP monochrome sensor; and a 2 MP depth sensor. The primary sensor on the phone is the high-end Sony IMX586 which is also available on the Realme 5 Pro. At the front, you get a pop-up module that packs in a 16 MP selfie camera. The AI camera comes with features like Dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama shot.

The cores support a frequency of up to 2 GHz. It integrated an ARM Mali-G72MP3 GPU and a dedicated AI processing unit.
Oppo offers dual 4G VoLTE functionality with the Reno 2Z along with support for Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi, four satellite navigation systems, and USB-OTG. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor and ARM Mali-G72MP3 GPU. The device comes preloaded with a number of apps and bloatware. Users get a number of third-party apps like NewsPoint, Solomon, DailyHunt, Helo, WPS Office, and UC Browser.
At the bottom of the device the Oppo Reno 2Z sports a USB Type-C port, a primary microphone, the loudspeaker, and a 3.5mm audio jack whereas the pop-up selfie camera and the secondary microphone are on the top of the device. The smartphone comes with Widevine L1 certification, which enables users to watch videos on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video at HD resolution.
The Reno 2Z packs all the standard sensors including fingerprint (under display, optical) sensor. It also features an accelerometer, a gyroscope, proximity, and compass sensors.
