LG is teasing “something new” that they are going to announce on September 21. The teaser shows the rear of a smartphone with rear button configuration that’s common with LG’s phones. The device also seems to have a metal-clad body.

Rumors suggest that the new device could be the LG H740 that popped up on GFXBench. The device has a 5.7-inch Full HD display and is powered by a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon 615 SoC. It is also expected to have 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and is run on Android Lollipop v5.1.1. The back of phone is expected to have a 12MP camera with a 5MP camera for the front.

LG is also prepping to launch its version of the Nexus. Codenamed ‘Bullhead’, LG’s version of the smartphone is tipped to have a 5.2-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 808 SoC and 3GB of RAM. Leaks suggest that it would come with a 13MP primary camera, 5MP secondary camera along with a fingerprint sensor and a 2700mAh battery. It is also expected to come with a USB Type-C port.

Huawei is also going to launch a Nexus smartphone. Its version of the phone will have a larger 5.7-inch with a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera. Leaked images of the bootloader suggest that the device will have a Snapdragon 810  processor along with 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Like the LG Nexus phone, it too is expected to come with a USB Type-C port. Both these smartphones will be the first to come with Android Marshmallow v6.0. According to rumors, Google is planning an event on September 29 in San Francisco where both the devices are expected to be launched.

Huawei also launched the Mate S at the IFA event this month. The device was the first smartphone to come with a Force Touch technology, beating out the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. However, the new iPhones were announced with 3D Touch which are able to distinguish between three levels of pressure. The Mate S is able to distinguish between two levels of pressure.

Update: Underkg posted exclusive hands on photographs of the phone. By the looks of it, the phone will be called the LG Class.
