Jio has launched the Jio phone which features a 2.4-inch display, a D-pad for navigation and a number pad for dialling and typing. It is powered by a dual-core processor along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot up to 128 GB. The phone runs on KaiOS.
JioPhone was launched in July 2017 & runs on KAI OS HTML5-based Firefox OS OS. The Feature Phone with 4g support is available only in one color i.e. Black & provides a host of connectivity options in terms of 3G, 4G, Wifi, NFC Bluetooth capabilities. Priced at Rs. 1500 the phone is available with 4GB of internal storage.
The Feature Phone with 4g support is powered by 1.2GHz Dual Core core SPRD 9820A/QC8905 Processor. A 512MB of RAM ensures phone runs smoothly even the most memory intensive applications & still shows no signs of lag. 4GB of internal storage can be expanded to 128 GB via a microSD card.
The Phone comes with a 2000 mAh battery to support it's 2.4 inch screen with QVGA display having a resolution of 240 x 320 at 167 ppi.
JioPhone comes with a 2 megapixel rear Camera and 0.3 megapixel front Camera. The Feature Phone with 4g support has a low camera aperture of 2.8.

The Reliance Jio's phone keypad is of the worst quality I came across in mobile phones. There is absolutely no sync with the keypad and cursor making it very difficult to browse through the apps of the phone.Can Amazon help by replacing the phone with a similar set? I cannot obviously make out the quality of the phone within the time frame offered by Amazon for replacementrefund. Regret to inform that I am very unhappy with the JIO Mobile set

Well baught the phone for my dad who was still using a nokia 2600 good phone good battery life, great phone for who is reluctant to switch to android.
I have started using the JIO Phone after 12 days, the moment i have realaised that phone is resounding, Ear phone jack is not working. I have immediately give a complaing to amazon, but they denied to replace the phone, informed to contract to JIO.
Purchase this phone from flipkart for guaranteed quality My Phone get overheated and battery get low in a hour purchased from amazon... Please do needful... My return policy schedule is closed on 5sept 19, as I order this phone on 23Aug 19....
Laggy phone with a lot of bugs
I don't like this mobile because it's not working properly it's hang a lot and it's switch off automatically battery shows 100% and then suddenly shows low battery and there are charging issue also.
It's a perfect Smartphone under 1500 rupees The best. if it will come with usb tethring and hotspot then it will become more perfect
Looking is Very good. Battery is not so good.But sound is owosome. Camera is normal at this price. Jio offer is very good. Service centre is also available near. Its value of money
