Huawei is gearing up to launch the Huawei P40 smartphone which is rumoured to feature a 6.57-inch touchscreen display. The phone runs on Android 10 based UI and will be powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor. The device will come with a triple rear camera sensor and will come with features like Phase Detection, autofocus, Continuous Shooting, and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) modes.
The Huawei P40 series are the company’s flagship smartphones. Ahead of the official launch, a number of details about the phones have been revealed including that Huawei will be launching the Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro and a smaller version, the Huawei P40 Lite in the range. The company could also launch a Huawei P40 Pro PE (Premium Edition) which will be the most premium version.
The Huawei P40 Pro Plus is a part of the Huawei P40 series. The phone has 512 GB of internal storage, a Penta rear camera setup, a 6.58-inch display screen and an IP68 rating for dust and water protection. The phone runs on 2.86 GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G processor and Android 10.
The phone will come with a 6.1-inch display. A leaked render of the phone reveals that the smartphone will come with dual front camera within the hole-punch cut out. It will be available in Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, Ice White, and Mint Green colours. It has an IP68 water resistant body which can withstand splashes.
The phone is rumoured to have a triple rear camera setup. According to rumours the phone will have a 50 MP primary shooter, with a second 16 MP camera and a third 8 MP camera. The P40 will also come with Huawei's XD Fusion engine, according to the company. The Huawei P40 will house a 32 MP front camera for clicking selfies.
The Huawei P40 camera setup will have up to 30x zoom capabilities. The smartphone will come with features like digital zoom, 10 x optical zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus.
The phone will come with a fingerprint sensor for additional security. The Huawei P40 supports face unlock. The Huawei P40 is powered by the Kirin 990 5G chipset. It has an array of sensors including a light sensor, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope.
Storage and Battery
The phone will come with a 3,800mAh battery and will support fast charging. The Huawei P40 will be launched with 128 GB of internal storage. The phone will be available in multiple memory variants.
Connectivity options on the Huawei P40 are Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C. The Huawei P40 ships with a dual-SIM smartphone that will accept Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards and will support 4G and 3G.
