Amazon's private smartphone label, 10.or (Tenor) has launched it’s third smartphone in India, the 10\.or D (first impressions). It comes after the 10.or E and 10.or G, which were launched by the company back in September. The 10.or DWhere to buy 4999 5999 has been launched as part of “Crafted for Amazon” programme. Under it, the company collaborates with partners to make products specifically tailored for consumers using their insights. The 10.or D will be available in two variants. One is a 2GB RAM/16GB ROM which is priced at Rs 4,999, another is a 3GB RAM/32GB storage model which will be available at Rs 5,999.
The online retailer has also partnered with B2X for after sales support. Amazon says there are currently 32 service centres in India. The 10.or DWhere to buy 4999 5999 competes with the Flipkart Billion Capture + which was recently launched by the e-commerce platform Flipkart. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting January 5 exclusively on Amazon and Prime customers will get an additional one-year warranty on the device.
The 10.or D features a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. It sports a 13MP rear camera complete with LED flash and autofocus support and comes with a 5MP front facing camera. The smartphone is a dual-SIM device running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is powered by a 3500mAh battery, which the company claims can last for 2 days on a single charge.
