I personally use this lapy for last one & half year,and believe me,not a single problem occured. Being a gamer,I use it too often for gaming.Very good performance with gaming and for other uses too.guys dont go for brand,bcz asus is leading producer of computer parts,like mother board,etc.So asus will never let you down.Plus build quality is great.Once my lappy slipped from my bed,and fell on the floor..surprisingly nothing happened.!! Grt looks,plus awesome "cooling",the main problem of all laptops..So I recommend asus laptop...

i am using it about 1 year, but it didn't have shown me any type of malfunction & problems. in summer it will get heat a little bit but in winter you will never find any type of heat in this laptop. in my words it delivers it's performance finely. And if you are thinking about other brands, they will make you to run behind the customer care or nothing but i bet you this laptop will not. And not about this laptop, i am listening about all laptop's of asus they all are good with ice cool technology..

I had purchased this ASUS K55VD-SX313D last week at Rs. 31100. As usual Flipkat+Seller did their decent job. In terms of packing and Delivery. I have installed Kubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7 OS and both are working well. NVIDIA Geforce 610M 2GB Gfx + Intel Core i3 + 4GB RAM + HM65 Chipset are boosting the laptop performance at best level. This Notebook build quality is soild. Keyboard, Touchpad, Internal Speakers and LCD Display are very good. You will enjoy ASUS added features like Facelogon, Smart Gesture, Power4Gear in Windows OS. Battery backup is decent; comes around ~3Hrs in normal usage (Surfing via Wi-Fi + Music + @bright display). The 'Passion Red' color looking like very fashionable asset. As ASUS stating this Notebook comes under 'Entertainment' segment, Yep!. the configuration of Notebook meets 'Entry-Level Mainstream' Notebook segment. Go for it. You will not disappoint as a Advanced user/Gamer/Techie. Few Tech details: 1. This Notebook does not support Windows XP OS (Not fully funtional!) as ASUS is not providing WIN XP drivers. 2. The Driver CD contains only Windows 7/8 64Bit drivers for Intel HD + Nivida Gfx. We have to download Windows 7/8 32bits drivers for Intel HD + Nivida Gfx. 3. This laptop has AMI's EFI BIOS with Legacy support; So you can install 32/64bit OS.

it is the one of the best choice within this price limit. except Asus K55VD-SX314D no any other lap with i3 processor, 2 GB graphics card and 4 GB ram below Rs. 31,000. Very stylish look and attractive colour. this lap is slim in size and less in weight. Sound is average. No lag while playing games. Company gave good finishing to this laptop. its one disadvantage is , company not provided any OS with this system. Never feels any problem with wifi. but some users saying that their is problem in its wifi.

bought mine couple of weeks b4. as said in other reviews its one of the best for its price range with few short comings: 1. touchpad&buttons isnt that good to use. also it has no scroll option in it. 2. keyooard is OK(should not say it as good), i used dell inspiron 1525, its keyboard is better that this one. 3. you have to download all the drivers, if u r installing windows8, because the drivers CD which is shipped with this supports only win7. 4. length of charger cable is shorter. 5. charger plug has only two pins.(none for earth), so if you plug into wall plug-point it may come out/fall down if slightly disturbed.

Asus u hav given best product in 33k...i bought this lapi from local dealer at 32k with accessories... Coming to lapi 1) best confg in Rs32k 2) best for gaming lapi in 35k budget 3)use cooling pad,my lapi never heat up Gaming reveiw 1) COD-MW3 -on high setting 2)BF3- on ultra setting 3)assassins creed3-ultra setting 4)fifa12-13-on high setting and all games runnable even GTA4..no lag at all...go for it sure....

A very good laptop for descent price. Far better than any models from other company (dell,hp,lenovo, samsung etc) for this price. This laptop comes with FreeDOS but can very easily be loaded with windows or ubuntu or any other linux distribution. This is a very good deal for people who like working with linux and dont like to invest on windows. Pros: 1) Very good build quality. 2) Very good hardware for this price. 3) Very good performance. 4) Good battery life. Cons: 1) Touch pad is very sensitive.

if you check Asus India website you wont find K55VD ,you can find the version in Asus international site.Pretty new entrant to India , I guess. Have been using Asus K53SD(same in everyway except K53sd has 1 usb3 slot and blue tooth 3 whereas K55VD has 2 usb 3 slots and bluetooth4 ) for last 7 months ,I could'nt find any glitches since i was advised not to go for ASUS since it is rarely used/seen brand here. Almost most other brand runs of something developed by asus ,either motherboard or graphics card.For the same asus gives you higher config. notebook at cheaper rate.you can also checkout with the local dealers where they might give you little more cheaper rate. go for it ...Asus never lets you down...

This lappy is just the replica or sibling of Asus K53SD series.The only diff b/w both is that this one has got bluetooth v4.0 or superior to latter.So,WTH go for this one because it comes with 2 slots of USB 3.0 which is totally worth it Cons: It comes with dual core i3 Processor btw i3 comes with dual core..
