  i didnt buy frm flipkart, its very slim, attractive, hv long battery back up(4-5hrs coz i keep brightness and sound minimum while regular working)... *there was a hardware prblem(DUE TO SM ACCIDENT) with keyboard, hp engineer approached me at home and replaced without deep investigation. *at starting there was also prblm of uncomplete shut down, i approached hp support, they did something online and it shuts down cmpltly aftr that *the two adjecent usb slots troubles attaching while working with many external devvices, so gap should be increased betn two *keyboard is vry unconventional to use especially arrow buttons.better to attach external keyboard for long typing. " YOUR WAY OF HANDLING AND REGULAR CLEANUP CAN IMPROVE THE SYSTEMS LIFE"

  Hi everyone, I bought this laptop a week back and have installed windows 8.1 ( eventhough I am a big fan of linux ). The product physically is very slim and light compared to its contenders in the same price range. Pros: Fast (i5 4th gen processor), slim and light, 1 gb gfx for gaming and multimedia stuff, highly responsive touchpad, good battery back-up ( 3-4 hrs as of now ), silver outside finish for "macbook-like" look! Cons: typing using the keyboard is cumbersome. I recommend u to buy external mouse n keyboard for efficient usage. No other cons!! I highly recommend this product to everyone, don't think twice!! think only once n go for this!!

  Received this laptop in October. Had issues both with hardware & software. Flipkart replaced it no questions asked. Only thing is i have never received the 1000rs HP accessory voucher as promised at that point of time. Now getting back to the actual product review, as mentioned in the title its the best you can get at the price tag, period. However, installing any other OS (other than Ubuntu) on this laptop is a pain in the neck. I have had no luck installing windows 7 for dual boot (no drivers). Windows 8 might work as a charm but you have to bend your back n find out how to get it to do the dual boot (if you keep Ubuntu on it). But when it comes to performance i am quite impressed. Been using it for more than a month now. Pros: Good screen / good battery life / no heating noticed / no issues what-so-ever playing games or hd movies / price tag Cons: Speakers could have been better / empty memory slot would have been fetching / not compatible with windows 7 / HP support doesn't offer chat or email support for Ubuntu as they are only trained to support windows 8 relevant issues. But all-in-all as the pros outweigh the cons, its one of the best bit out there in the market.

  I'm seeing far too many people simply installing Windows without even giving Ubuntu a try. Its very sad. I've been running 13.10 on HP Envy 1025 and I'm really really amazed how much more I can do with this sleekbook. I can only ask/suggest people to try and use Ubuntu. If you are hell bent on gaming, you HAVE STEAM on this! If you know how exactly to use Ubuntu/linux, you can squeeze far too much more than what has been provided on the box via optimizations/system tweaks. About me: Software Engineer/Gamer/full time Ubuntu user

  I bought this laptop for 37k i feel that it is Preety fantastic device at this price point. I also feel that is difficult to get drivers for this but you can make it from your self first download it from www.hp.com and write into a cd so that you don't have to download again and again other wise fantastic device. No issues with window 7 ultimate 64 bit version .... Thanks hope it will be helpful for you

  I have not buy this laptop from flipkart this laptop is good for gaming and everyday use PROS:- 1 Good Design 2 Good Sound Quality 3 Good Battery Life 4 Intel i5 4th gen (good for battery life) I am a Gamer the games tested on this laptop are:- (Here i have increased my RAM 2 GB extra i.e total 6 GB RAM) Call of Duty Ghosts (Optimal settings),Battlefield 4 (Med Settings),Battlefield 3 (High Settings), Assassins Creed 3 (High settings), Tomb raider (Ultra 20-25 FPS) and Crysis 3 Black OPS2 and GTA 4 (High)... all at 1366x768 res. (Note 6 Gb ram is used). Cons:- 1 Delicate Keyboard Buttons The Problems i have faced in this laptop are these: 1 Cant update Intel Graphic card (got update from intel website) installed successfully but cant open intel graphic control panel. 2 AMD graphic card also cannot be update while installing catalyst control shows "the driver you specified was not installed for the matching devices" in device manager it shows "8600 series graphic card" Rest are all perfect.

  I recently brought this laptop. Pros: # Looks good in hand (classic look) # Super fast- loading windows and shutdown # It's ultra slim in this segment # Doesn't feel too much weighted (as it is approx 2.1 kg) # Battery life is excellent # Sound is great # Awesome viewing angle ( u would love watching movie) * Do remember to install all the drivers from HP site (available only for win 8) or else you might face issues like (unable to shut down, low sound, heating up) * Do install the HP cool driver- which automatically adjusts the temperature of the laptop, (even when you are handling it on your lap, you don't feel the heat, as in other laptops) Con's # I feel the key seems to be very delicate # The arrow keys in laptop are not manageable while using ( the upper & down arrow key are small and the side arrow keys are big) Rest all is good. I compared it with other laptops, this seemed to be the best one, with all the latest processor and classy slim look)

  @ Gaurav. Please follow the below. Performing a full shut down To perform a full shut down, do the following: Press Windows + I key. Click Power , press and hold the Shift key, and select Shut down.

  buddy the slow shutdown...,etc issues are bcoz of ur win8 os. Maybe reformatting solve the problem. Thats y i hate win8 n use win7. Personal advice: use win7 HB or Ultimate
