This lap top processer is dual core and AMD Essential E1 Process. 1. It is low processer compared with other process such as Quad Core process. 2. The RAM is 2 Gm and out of which 40 % is dedicated to AMD Radeon HD 7310 Discrete-Class, the effect of RAM is very low in usage and system some time hangs. Though the RAM is extendable to 8 GB. 3. Upgrading the RAM to 8 GB is also not an easy job for the Hardware Engineer as the Ram is attached ad the bottom of the Board. and from the bottom there is no provision to easily un screw and upgrade to RAM. Over all its a better to by at such a small price tag. But not useful for major business application's to access such as MS office as the system is very slow. I need to check once I upgrade the RAM to 4 GB or More.

I am using this laptop since last 6 months,I am very frustrated when using this laptop. Its work like 19th Century Computers. It was my biggest mistake to bought APU processor..I will advice you please go for Intel processor only.

Just got my hands on this beauty frm Flipkart.Got a good deal where a Logitec wireless mouse,HP bkpack was inccluded so could nt resist.It was delivered as promised with very good packaging. If u r looking for a cheap laptop with Win 8 then look no further.Quick booting up n Win 8 was pretty easy to use.I was upgrading frm Vista & after 3-4 days i got the hang of adapting to win 8.Dont know why its criticised so much. I liked the black glossy finish & the AMD processor is also pretty decent literally no lag. The only 2 drawbks are a lack of an Optical drive & maybe the keyboard could hv been better. If u r llooking just to surf the net & do some work on office suite then this is your cheapest bet My conclusion: JUST GO FOR IT!

very cute and excellent from hp. price is very reasonable. every one in my office is crazy for this new sleekbook. flipkart, please make available. all my colleagues also wants to buy it from flipkart. windows 8 is superb. go for it guys, and enjoy windows 8.the delivery from flipkart was outstanding like always.

I think I will first note that delivery was fast though flipkart s good at t...as for the sleekbook...if you are a gamer or a going for high end graphics don't go for this laptop,even if you do first buy 4 GB or 8 GB ddr3 1066 ram from gskill or corsair(best).The amd ei-1200 and c8 processors are meant for daily usage policies like net surfing,online chatting,watch movies,videos,music etc. But as u push it further system slows down.also I recommend not to use high end antivirus like mcafee,guardian,Norton better go with quickheal/kaspersky as it will load the system less. Also hrd drive lacks partitions,don't even think about doing t urself as u wl fry the system..laptop visually is cool n on upgrading ram found it to b fast..weighs nearly 1.8kg with battery...but laptop is realy sleek nd classy..

Bought it two months back. Design is very sleek, like an Ultrabook. It is really light just 1.8 kg, easy to carry. 14' Display is good enough, picture quality is great. It comes with an original Windows 8. Unlike what people say it is very easy to use & has wonderful features, totally in love with it. It may take a while to adapt, but not too long. I wish the processor was more powerful, as it has an inbuilt graphic card which can play enough games but they some times lag a bit, maybe a RAM boost will help. It comes with 2GB RAM which is expandable till 8. Played games like GTA, NFS, Burnout, etc without any flaw. Graphics were great. 500 GB hard disk is fine for me as i don't have to store a lot of movies, games, etc. It has all the extra features required like a web cam, mic, HDMI port, USB 3.0, multi card slot, Bluetooth, WiFi, gesture track pad, etc. Battery backup is about 2.5-3 hrs. Problems you may face: Do make a backup of your windows as soon as you buy and consult an expert if you want to create a partition, because it can corrupt your windows if you do it wrong. No problems other than that. It comes with 1 yr Accidental cover. hp support is good. I recommend this to those who need it mainly for work purpose, internet surfing, watching movies, listening to music with some gaming. I got what i expected from this laptop. Worth buying. Complete Value for money!!

I bought this laptop from flipkart.. got it in 8 days with a neat package. The laptop is just awesome. i love the sleek design.. many of my friends thought this was the hp envy. i actually bought this temporarily. But its just amazing. i watched hd movies and the dolby sound is just awesome! but you have to get used to windows 8. other than that gaming is quite nice. i am currently playing modern warfare 2 and the game is running smoothly. not much heating issue. Battery could have been better but not bad at all. only con i found in the laptop is that the track-pad gets stuck sometimes but you cant blame it coz only 1.4ghz speed. A very impressive laptop! i am lovin it!
