shuts down automatically due to excessive heating with normal internet activities very frequently. cooling pad is a must, helps a little.
i am using this product since last 2 year .thermal shutdown problem is major problem in this lp.i Have lost my data many time.its shutdown during calls on skypy and fb.
It was good for the first six months, afterwords, thermal shutdowns started happening. means it automatically shutdown after working for half hour due to heating issue. called hp care several times, they only clean up the fan, temporary solution only. when the warranty finished, hp care asked for Rs. 40000/- to change the fan. useless. contacted other friends - they say should have thought before purchasing hp laptop, some of them have already faced such issues.
i have been using this laptop for almost 2 years..the one i have has got 8GB RAM and core i5 2nd gen..got it for 39k..not a single problem has troubled me for these 2 years..everything runs fine..the only problem i have is with casing..its all worn out..din't get damaged and al,but looks bad..if i get to change the case..i;m gonna use it for another 2-3 years :)
This product has a major disadvantage - the grey coating on the back of the screen(top when closed) and on the touch pad will easily be removed. Its seems like some cheap paint they have used for it. Im using this laptop for last 9 months (hp430 - but same build).. now it has become very bad to see.
As far as cost concerned its very good to buy and having almost all features like in other brand laptops. Drivers CD is not included and very handy, not very heavy. picture quality is also good. Personally i feel it is very best instead of going for some hi-fi laptops.
I recieved the product after 3 days.the packing was perfect,thanks to flipkart.It didnt have any drivers loaded.It was a bit difficult but after installing drivers,everything was working as magic.The games play very smoothly and with switchable graphics you can manage power with performance.In my view its the best laptop under 30k.
Laptop is good in this cost.. Advantages : Sound quality is Good Battery backup about Avg . 3Hrs 14'' monitor looking good Disadvantages : Weight is little more You need to update RAM otherwise it get hang or slow. USB port are little Hard. No driver CD's About Flipkart : i thank to flipkart team to reach my laptop with excellent condition.
