Acer unveils Nitro 5 gaming laptops with 8th Gen Intel Core i7, i7+ processors, Optane memory

The new laptops start at $749 (approx Rs 49,000), and will be available in the US in May. It is not yet known if or when the new laptop variant will come to India.

Acer has unveiled a new variant of its Nitro 5 series of gaming laptops. The new variant is available with 8th Gen Intel core i7Where to buy 43990 and i7+ hexa core processors along with Intel Optane memory. The new laptops start at $749 (approx Rs 49,000), and will be available in the US in May. It is not yet known if or when the new laptop variant will come to India.

The Acer Nitro 5 series also offers a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. It is equipped with Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics and up to 32GB of DDR4 memory. For storage, users get up to 512GB SSD. Other gaming-centric features include the NitroSense utility that monitors the status of the CPU and GPU, while the CoolBoost technology adjusts the fans for better performance. The Intel Wireless-AC 9560 2x2 802.11ac wireless, that company claims to offer enhanced gaming, streaming and conferencing experience.
