Been using this laptop for eight months. For normal purposes (browsing, watching movies, listening to songs), it is great. Haven't had any problems so far. Cons: The trackpad sometimes just sticks.

After reading some of the reviews I thought of buying this product and here is what I found: Pros: 1. Windows 8 pre-installed 2. LED Display 3. Good Battery Back up 4. Very sleek easy to handle 5. Goof finishing though of cheap plastic 6. Good front camera 7. Reliable AMD Processor 8. Comes with Backpack 9. Watched HD movie without any lag Cons: 1. No CD Drive 2. Dual Core and hence will be slower 3. Clock speed is 1.4Gz which is not suitable for PS games 4. Fan does make some noise which is not expected from HP brand Conclusion: If you want to experience Windows 8 for very cheaper price and if you are looking for a Laptop for browsing purpose and watching movies I would highly recommend this product. In case you want for business purpose and PS games this is not the one you are looking for. A true value for money with good brand!

Good but detailed technical features like MS Office 2010 software will be provided or not along-with Window 8 is not there. Compatibility to HP printer/scanner is not there. You cannot insert any CD.. no provision for that is another disadvantage. Although these are product problem but it should be mentioned in the product literature.

this is my 5 day using this laptop look too good ultra slim & light weight perfect for carry battery average, camera good, performance till today awesome best point of this laptop is window 8 which is fantastic negative points still searching... note: only for daily user not for high graphics gaming, designing

I bought this laptop from Hp world 2 weeks back and here are my impressions of it so far Pros: -Very sleek,lightweight and nice looking. -Has USB 3.0,HD webcam,wifi,bluetooth(no dvd drive as its a sleekbook) -Sound quality is really awesome(Altec lancing with dolby digital) -Windows 8(Not many laptops are loaded with OS to cut cost,but this comes with preinstalled OS in this price range,so pretty cool as you can start working from the minute you purchase it) Cons: -Touchpad mouse buttons(right/left click) are pretty hard and uncomfortable -Noisy fan(kicks off if you start watching video,download or connect external drive). This is really the biggest con of this otherwise nice machine.It's easily audible in a silent room and I find it quite distracting to use) Overall its a nice well designed machine,but the noisy fan takes away quite bit of charm from it.
