Twitter has rolled out a major update for iOS, Android and the web application. The update includes an improved interface for conversation and ability to report individual Tweets for abuse. Twitter says the update is aimed at make it easier to discover and follow conversations in users' home timeline.
Now users can will be able to see full conversation between users they follow in their timeline. “With this update, you can share conversations over email — whether your friends are on Twitter or not. On iPhone and Android, you can share individual Tweets over email, and on Android you can share via direct message (DM) as well,” says Twitter in a post.
Twitter in its latest update has focussed on user safety as well. Twitter now allows its users to report abuse or spam directly from the Android app or Twitter.com. The feature will be rolled out gradually. It's notable this feature is already available on the iOS version.
Twitter says it has improved experience on entry-level Android smartphones with limited storage, such as the Samsung Galaxy Y, HTC Explorer, Micromax Bolt, etc. “For these devices, the Twitter app is now less than half the previous size, making it much faster to download and easier to install,” adds Twitter.
