  i bought this product on 18th april ,i thought i'll take it for a trip .But when i used it inside swimming pool it stopped working ,whereas it is clearly mentioned in the specifications that it is water resistant upto 10m.When i called flipkart they told me that it cant be replaced as they have a 10 days replacemtn policyand the warranty does not cover defect due to water resistant of the product.so guys my humble suggestion dont by this product ,and if you do immerse it inside water as soon as you get it to check its water resistance,As they have only 10 days return policy. faith in gopro is gone

  Apart from all the goodness, what really stands out as pros and cons to me are - Pros - 1. Low light reception is better than Hero 4 Black and Silver - Generally at higher FPS (coz the shutter speed is high) light reception is not decent enough but 240 fps at 720p gave me an excellent video quality even in low lighting 2. Voice Control is awesome - specially handy if you do not have a Wifi Remote or Phone to control your camera and its far from your reach 3. Out of the box water resistant till 10 metres ( Although I suggest not to attempt this, use the waterproof housing anyway) 4. The GPS added a lot of character. The telemetry data generated looks top notch, you can get it through the Quik Application. Works really well. (Add speedometer, altitude, G Force data etc.to your videos) 5. Advanced Noise Reduction blew my mind away, my first gopro was the hero 3 white which produced wind blasts even in normal conditions, got better with hero 4 silver but hero 5's noise reduction is many levels higher than the previous gen models. 6. As is the case with Gopros, this one is also rugged and build quality is awesome Cons - 1. Aesthetically it just looks like the Hero +, it looks cheap, Hero 4 and 3 series look way better than this camera..Very plain black texture 2. Camera feels heavier than earlier generation Gopros, quite heavier. To put things into perspective, a hero 3+ along with waterproof housing feels like the same weight of this camera without any housings attached. 3. The video stabilization which should have been one of the best features disappoints big time, its literally not there, Sony's action cameras (worth quarter of this) are much better in terms of video stabilization 4. Battery drainage keeping the wifi, voice control and gps is on another level..it drains really fast 5. Cost in India right now is around 36k-38k..whereas US price is $399, that is like a difference of 10-12k Other than this, the camera is great, image and video quality in terms of color gradient has become much better, Sony cams don't stand close to its real life replication of the colors, but if this camera highlights that video stabilization is one of the new features in the box, they should set things right and improve that feature big time.

I am yet to use it in live situation, but basis experience so far, writing a review considering there are not many here in this Website.
