Specs comparison: Samsung Galaxy S10 vs Galaxy S9

The Galaxy S series is one of the most popular smartphone lineups by Samsung. Last year, the company has launched Galaxy S9, which was an upgrade over the Galaxy S8. Now, the latest Galaxy S10 is a successor to the Galaxy S9, which looks like a completely new device in terms of design and hardware compared to the Galaxy S9. So, let’s begin with a quick specs comparison to know what’s new and different Galaxy S10 has to offer at least on paper. 

Let’s begin by comparing the display of these two smartphones in detail. The Samsung Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8-inch FHD+ display. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S10 features a slightly bigger 6.1-inch screen that has a paunch hole cut out at the front for a selfie camera. 

When it comes to the performance, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is powered by an Exynos 9810 octa-core processor, which is paired with 4GB RAM and 256GB internal memory, while the Samsung Galaxy S10 is backed by the Exynos 9820 processor, which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S9 has a 12MP rear camera along with an 8MP sensor on the front. On the other side, the Samsung Galaxy S10 has a triple 12MP + 12MP + 16MP rear cameras with a 10MP unit on the front. 

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is priced at 899$, which roughly translates into Rs 63,970. On the other side, the Samsung Galaxy S9 4GB/256GB variant is available in India for Rs 54,390 via Amazon
