OnePlus recently unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6T. The device is going to be launched in India on October 30 and will go on sale from November 1st exclusively via Amazon. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S9 has been available in India for quite some time now and is available on Amazon at Rs 52,444. The OnePlus 6T comes with a larger 6.4-inch display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. On the other hand, The Samsung S9 features a 5.8-inch display, which is smaller than the OnePlus 6T display, but offers a much better resolution of 2940 x 1080 pixels, which results in a much higher pixel density.
When it comes to the processor, both the Samsung S9 and OnePlus 6T are equipped with flagship-grade chipsets. The OnePlus 6T sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, while the Samsung Galaxy S9 packs an Exynos 9810 chipset. The OnePlus 6T is available in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants, while the Samsung S9 is available in 4GB/64GB and 4GB/256GB variants.
Coming to the cameras, if your heart is set on a smartphone with a dual rear camera setup then the OnePlus 6T might fit the bill as it comes with a 16MP + 20MP rear camera setup. On the front, the smartphone is equipped with a 16MP unit. On the other hand, the Samsung S9 features a very capable 12MP unit at the back along with an 8MP unit on the front.
