Micromax Infinity N-Series phone launch today: Here’s what to expect and how to watch live stream
HIGHLIGHTS

Micromax had sent out an invite for an event last week hinting that the Infinity N-Series smartphone will have a notch.

After a lull, Micromax is again trying turn its fortune and is now all set to launch an Infinity N-Series smartphone in India today. Last week, the company had sent an invites to journalists hinting that the new smartphone will follow the trend and offer a notch on the display. The launch event will start at 12pm and those who wish to catch all the action can click on the link below to live watch the livestream of the event.

How to watch and what to expect?

Micromax will be live streaming the event on its official Facebook page. The company did not reveal any specifications or the pricing of the device but given Micromax’s launch trend, this could be a budget segment device. This N-Series device could toughen the competition in the segment which is dominated by Chinese players like Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo, Vivo among others. Micromax is also expected to jump on the AI bandwagon and could try to match or better the use of AI in cameras, battery, etc.

As hinted in the invite, the smartphone will have a notch and a near bezel-less display. Previous reports have suggested that the notch will house a selfie camera and an LED flash. There could be a dual camera setup on the back and a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon octa core processor and may be priced around Rs 15,000. This is all speculation and, as always, Digit.in advises its readers to wait for the final announcement from the company. We will be covering the event and you can visit our website for the related news.

The latest event comes on the heels of the launch of two entry-level smartphones with Android Go, the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition. Micromax launched the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition sporting an 18:9 display priced at Rs 5,899 and the Bharat 4 Diwali sporting a 5-inch display priced at Rs 4,249. In August, Micromax’s sub-brand YU unveiled YU Ace with 4,000 mAh battery and the 5.45-inch 18:9 display.
