Genius has launched its new, wireless graphic design tablet, the MousePen-i608x. The tablet has a surface area of 6”x8”, with a resolution of 2560 LPI, and the pen is able to detect 1024 pressure levels. There is also a 3-button wireless mouse for internet and document browsing. The device also comes with 29 programmable keys for customised shortcuts. The MousePen-i608x comes bundled with two softwares, Paintnet and Ten Toolbar. Paintnet is a photo editing software, while the Pen Toolbar helps making notes and sign documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and emails. The Genius MousePad-i608x is priced at Rs. 4,500, and is available at over 10,000 retail outlets as well as leading e-tail sites.

Using advanced 2.4GHz wireless technology, the mousepen tablet connects to laptops/PC’s via a USB receiver, offering mobility without any interference. The tablet offers an area of 6” X 8” to draw and write with a resolution of 2560 LPI. The high-performance pen features 1024 pressure levels, making brush strokes thicker or thinner depending on how hard the pen is pressed, mimicking traditional painting. The pen moves smoothly and accurately across the 2560 high-resolution contact area of the tablet, as if the screen and tablet were the same. It also comes with a clip which makes carrying it easy. The Genius MousePen –i608x also comes with 29 programmable keys for customized Office and Internet shortcuts, resulting in higher working efficiency.
