Airtel's IDTV concept may have made a good option if the company had chosen another partner. The Samsung TVs don't seem to be particularly worth the money right now and Airtel would do well to offer the subscriptions to owners of other televisions or partner with more manufacturers.
Airtel IDTV offers HD television, where you can record live TV and store for watching later. The idea is somewhat of an extension of the company's IPTV that has been available for a while now. IDTV though is available only on Samsung SmartDirect TVs for now.
