Gameloft, one of the leading developers and publisher of games for the mobile platform has announced a few of its upcoming gaming titles.
First up is the Asphalt 7: Heat, a long running racing franchise on the mobile platform, was announced during the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy SIII, hinting that it will take advantage of the powerful hardware found in High end devices. No details on the launch of the game, price, car details, tracks, etc. have been revealed but we expect the game to be available by the end of the year.
Next up, Men In Black 3, the game will be available on iOS as well as Android. The game is expected to launch on May 17th, for free, a week before the film and we hope to see some quirky references to the movie in the game. The game looks to have a top down view, like the Sim City games.
Movie tie in games haven’t been a success on the hard core gaming platform and they haven’t seen great success on the mobile platform either. Iron Man is the best example of a game gone wrong on both the consoles as well as the mobile platform.
Another anticipated game on the mobile platform is NOVA 3. The game has some striking resemblance to the halo franchise. The graphics of the game look really good and we hope it takes advantage of the high end hardware found in some Android devices.
