Kit Harrington will feature as a antagonist in the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare video game. Famously known for playing the role of Jon Snow in the Game of Thrones television series, Kit will be playing the role of Admiral Salen Kotch, leader of the Settlement Defense Front in the upcoming game. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is scheduled to launch in November for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In an interview with GameInformer, Taylor Kurosaki, Narrative Director of Infinity Ward said “I’m pleased to announce that Kit plays Admiral Salen Kotch. He’s the leader of the Settlement Defense Front’s fleet, at the helm of their biggest ship, the Olympus Mons. It’s a classic war story in a different setting, naval warfare with two captains dueling it out in the reaches of space.” On being asked about how an actor is chosen, he added, "We wanted someone – a skilled actor obviously – who had a notable presence. One of our storytelling tenants is that we don’t want to break perspective." Harrington has already finished shooting for his role in the game.
The first trailer for Infinite Warfare launched in March, but long term fans are also waiting for the remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Call of Duty 4), which will be available for people who pre-order either the Legacy, Legacy Pro or the Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
