This gives customers unlimited downloads (no FUP) for Rs 349. According to telecom talk, the ‘life set hai’ plan is available in Hyderabad only at the moment.

In Hyderabad, Hathway offers 5 more plans, all with no FUP. These are 25Mbps, 75Mbps, 100Mbps, 125Mbps and 80Mbps. The 25Mbps plan starts at Rs 349 but if you take the half yearly subscription, it will cost you Rs 2394 and the annual cost of the plan is Rs 4500. It looks like all broadband service providers are gearing up for the war of internet speed when Reliance launches Jio Giga Fiber for users. BSNL has a plan called Bharat Fiber. Under the new service BSNL will offer 35GB data per day at as low as Rs 1.1 per GB. Interested users can book the plan through BSNL’s online portal.

There is no specific date for the launch of Jio Giga fiber but the service is undergoing tests nationwide. Just like Jio shook up the smartphone 4G data market, it is expected that they will offer competitive prices for the plans. However, considering the delay, we aren't holding our breath for the Jio Giga Fiber service to launch anytime soon.
