In the ever-crowded smartphone market, manufacturers are doing everything they can to ensure that their devices stand out from the crowd. One of the ways they ensure that is by offering innovative features and designs. Here's a quick look at four smartphones that offer innovative camera features.

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom

While pop-up cameras are nothing new, Oppo decided to spice things up with the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. The front camera is housed inside a shark-fin style design that makes it stand out from the crowd. However, that isn't the only camera innovation on offer. At the back of the device is a triple-camera setup that takes excellent pictures. The phone features a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera, a 13MP telephoto lens and an 8MP wide-angle camera. The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom combines all the three lenses to offer the 10x zoom that the name of the smartphone promises. In fact, the phone can offer 60x digital zoom. In order to ensure stability even when fully zoomed, the phone uses dual Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Other camera features of the phone include an f/1.7 aperture lens, which should ensure improved low light imaging. The smartphone also comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy A80

Generally, smartphones tend to offer a front camera that is slightly inferior to the rear camera. Samsung decided to make sure that buyers get the same quality images regardless of which camera they use. How? By making a phone that offers a single camera module that functions as the front and rear camera. The Samsung Galaxy A80 features a very unique design in which the rear camera module lifts up and turns around to take selfies. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 3D depth sensor. Features of the camera include Live Focus Video, Super Steady Video and more. The Samsung Galaxy A80 also offers a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei's partnership with Leica seems to be going pretty well for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The company has been making smartphones that offer top-notch cameras and the Huawei P30 Pro is no different. The smartphone features a quad rear camera setup with a 40MP+20MP+8MP configuration, along with a 3D ToF camera. The P30 Pro also comes with a periscope telescope lens that allows for 10x Hybrid Zoom, and 50x digital zoom. In fact, the phone features a special mode for taking photos of the moon called Moon Shot. The phone can also take ultra-wide and macro photos. The device packs a 6.47-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and is powered by a Kirin 980 SoC. It also features a 4200mAh battery with support for Huawei's 40W SuperCharge technology.

Oppo Reno 2

The Oppo Reno 2 is more like the younger sibling of the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. As such, it offers similar features such as the 16MP shark-fin style pop-up camera and the periscope telescope lens. The phone sports a quad rear camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens,13MP telephoto lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone offers a 5x Hybrid Zoom, and 20x digital zoom. It also comes with special camera modes such as an Ultra Dark Mode, AI Beauty Mode, Portrait Mode and more. The device features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC. Other features of the phone include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
