Get ready for the biggest superhero team-up this April. Avengers: Infinity Wars is gearing up to become the longest Marvel movie till date. According to the AMC Theatres website, Infinity Wars will have a runtime of 2 hours and 36 minutes, longer than Captain America: Civil War, which ran for 2 hours 27 minutes. This will make Infinity Wars the longest Marvel movie ever and there’s good reason for it.
If you count all the superheroes that will feature in Infinity Wars, the total comes to a whopping 26! Worry not, you will not have to sit through the elaborate recaps and back stories of all of these MCU characters, just the main ones - Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man and Doctor Strange. What about the others? Well, the rest of the team includes - Scarlet Witch (last spotted in Age of Ultron), Vision (also last spotted in Age of Ultron), Winter Soldier (Last spotted in the post credits of Black Panther), Wong (Doctor Strange’s mentor), Star Lord (Guardians of the Galaxy), Gamora (Guardians of the Galaxy), Nebula (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2), Groot (Guardians of the Galaxy), Rocket (Guardians of the Galaxy), Drax The Destroyer (Guardians of the Galaxy), Mantis (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2), War Machine (Captain America: Civil War), Falcon (Captain America: Civil War), Shuri (Black Panther), Okoye (Black Panther), Loki (Thor), M’Baku (Black Panther). PHEW! That’s a looong list.
We can’t wait to see how all there super characters come together in a single movie. We just hope it doesn't end up like DC’s Justice League. Hopefully Marvel has done enough background work already to make Avengers: Infinity Wars relatable for all movie goers.
