the above product was worth the price and watch functionality is awesome and i have to say some thing about the delivery.
i ve ordered the watch on 8th June 2016 and the watch got delivered to nearest hub on 18th june, from 18th june the watch was still in the hub and every time i check in the flipkart account they are mentioning that "Order is out for delivery but unable to deliver due to incomplete address". I have got many online and offline deliveries to this address, i don't know why the flipkart courier guys are facing a big problem with the address and courier guys are not even calling to my mobile number and simply mentioning that product is unavailable to deliver due to incomplete address. i ve called to flipkart customer care guys for three days, still they are also not responded to my calls.
For the product i wiil give 5*****
For the delivery not even 1 star......
finally shutdown your flipkart and go away assholes........
No that good
The UI is pretty aweful. The GPS did not work to begin with. No Sleep tracking.
Better go for runner 2
TomTom Cardio Runner Review
I have used this watch for some time now, primarily for running and would like to provide some feedback.
I am also a user of the Gamin 610 and use it for Heart Rate Training. I have found that Heart Rate Training improves your running performance a lot. If done correctly, over time, it improves your pace for the same effort. It took me about six months before I could see a marked improvement in my performance with Heart Rate Based training. Recording Your Runs based on Heart rate gives you the ability to track your progress and tweak your training to achieve your set goals.
Being a Heart patient and having undergone an Angioplasty – recording and watching my heart rates during runs is very critical for me.
I was very interested to check out the new TomTom Cardio primarily because of its feature of recording heart rates without the need of a heart strap. Heart rate Straps can be uncomfortable and take t some time to get used to. I have had cuts and Chaffing several times if the strap is not correctly tensioned.
Doing away with the strap is a great advantage – as you can record heart rates at any time during the day at work- climbing stairs, or just checking your resting heart rate etc.
Surprisingly I found the TomTom Optical Heart Rate measurement quiet and accurate. I compared recorded heart rates with both the Garmin and the TomTom .I have screenshots of teh heartrate recordings of both Garmin and TomTom but could not pate them here due to limitations of this site. Both compare very well. In Fact the TomTom overcame a known Problem with any strap type HR watch- which shows a High Heart Rate for the First Km or so- caused by Static Buildup- I always have this issue - it is more to do with the strap technology than the watch brand.
This watch also allows you to connect standard Bluetooth HR Straps (like Polar) in case you still want to record runs with a strap.
The GPS I thought was better on the TomTom. The Real Test for the GPS recorded runs comes when you run though areas with trees or high buildings all watches will show some error. Compared to the Garmin 610, I thought that the TomTom was a more accurate probably because it uses two navigation systems - GPS and GLONASS( a Russian Navigation Satellite System).
The TomTom is easy to Navigate through the menu. Also the time required to Latch on to Satellites is way faster (About 5 seconds or so).The Optical sensor takes about 20 seconds to latch on.
This watch has Bluetooth connectivity. This allows your runs to be downloaded directly to your Phone. This is great because you can see an analysis or your run immediately.
For Connecting to the computer you need to connect it via the Charging /Docking cable, unlike my Garmin 610 which needs to be connected only via an ANT+ USB stick to the computer.
Another nice feature called Virtual Racer allows you to compete against your previous Runs –with the Watch showing how you are faring compared to your earlier run-in real-time. You can view your heart rate in terms of the zones which is useful.
The TomTom MySports site where the runs get uploaded has only the basic features (No ability to see any detailed analysis) but is easy to operate- It allows you to adjust your Heart rate Zones to tweak your training.
The Good thing is that it has an option to automatically transfer the recorded data to a Host of Running Websites including Strava, a feature which I found useful. This gives you the option to have a very detailed analysis of your run.
Another feature is a built in acceleration sensor which allows you to measure distance while running on a treadmill. It senses the arm movement- and takes a couple of runs to calibrate it against distance- Found this useful as sometime the treadmill resets or power failures case the treadmill reading to reset. But it does need a few runs to get the calibration right.
I was pleasantly surprised by the support I got from the toll free helpline – when I had an issue with uploading my runs- the person I talked to was knowledgeable and sorted out my problem. I think it’s a first watch company in India to provide warranty and aftersales support locally including repairs.
Overall I found it to be a nice watch for Running ,with a New Generation technology!
I bought this watch only for its ability to track heart rate without a HRM band strapped across the chest. And it works splendidly though! The rest of the features are the same in all the GPS running watches. Buy it if you are tired of chest strap.
