After 6 months it stopped working. Screen is not turning on. Service centres are not accepting the watch for repair. Now I am waiting for my watch since March 2017 for a replacement. Please don't buy. Don't spend so much for a watch.
Guys please go for it ..I am cyclist and gadets freek ... I must say Moto 360 is awesome ..Please avoid sumsung gear Asus and all if u want android then go for it .... And I u have apple then Apple watch 2... Btw Moto 360 support iOS too :)
Verdict: The Moto 360 2nd Gen is a significant improvement over its predecessor. It retains the charm of the classic Moto 360 in terms of form factor and overall feel of the device, while adding more performance and refinement on all fronts. Highlights: Classic looks, Growing app support, Dust and water resistant, Lightweight and reasonably slim, Bright display, Average battery life The Experience: The overall design of the smartwatch is a lot more intuitive this time around. The straps are easily changeable and the watch itself is IP67 certified (dust and water resistant), which means that you don’t need to worry about a little water splashing on the device (unfortunately, you can't go swimming with it). Coming to the display of the Moto 360 2nd Gen, it is clear and bright even under direct sunlight. You have the option to keep the display always on, which is a nice touch. Plus, the silhouette of the watch face during the always-on mode is quite pleasant to look at. As far as customization is concerned, the number of pre-installed watch faces and the downloadable ones from Google Play Store are more than enough to keep you happy for a really long time. The apps library for Android Wear platform is growing and it’s nice to see a lot of popular apps showing support for Android Wear. The battery life has improved over the previous generation but it still isn't class-leading by any measure. Your battery mileage will vary between 24-32 hours depending on usage. We managed to stretch the battery life to 36 hours by keeping the always-on mode brightness booster and Wi-Fi switched off.
The strap is very small. i am bought leather strap in local shop other wise ,Probably the best looking smart watch on the market right now, Great build quality, Build is much higher quality, Everything is much more fluid and usable !
One must not mistake a watch with a phone, as digital as both might be. I did not buy the watch to listen to music on it or watch videos or for the pixel-density of the screen. It just fit my requirements. I made my decision for this product in this manner...... I asked myself if I wanted a new Tag, Rado, Titan, etc. or should I buy myself a Moto 360? When I realized that a watch will be a watch, which is, stationary in time and will not / cannot change because it is made a certain way, I decided to go in for the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) Black in color with a 46mm dial. Battery is excellent. Can last me 2 days on a single charge. Talking about charge, the wireless charging dock is really quite fun. Serves as a night light for me now. The watch has the largest dial I have ever worn, however, it sits quite well on my wrist and I'm beginning to get used to it. The screen size being big, helps in reading text messages, emails & Whatsapp messages. The watch lets you know any & everything that comes as a notification in your drop-down on the phone. No separate Google account here. Bluetooth on the phone needs to be on at all times. The 3 main reasons why I bought this product: 1. Metal straps: One of the only digital watches which comes with a metal strap, giving it a semblance of being a serious watch. The rest of the "digitals" are for kids, or so it seems. Not only does leather look girly, it has a very childish, informal look to it. For eg. would you buy a Tag or Rado sporting a leather strap? And what is with the cheap silicon straps on the rest of the "Digitals"? 2. Round-Shaped Dial: I can't wear a square on my wrist. Reminds me of the single-line-digital-display cheap watches that we used to get in rainbow colors for 50 bucks a piece from the balloon hawkers roaming the streets, when we used to be kids. It's such a damn shame & a joke that the Samsungs and the Apples are persisting with the square design. 3. Always-On Feature: Since none have the battery capacities matching the Moto 360 (46mm dial only), i.e. 400 MaH, they cannot afford to have an always-on feature. The always-on feature on the Moto gives it a very watch-like demeanor. It looks like there is a dial that exists at all times, on the device that I am wearing on my wrist, however, it is only the low-brightness, minimal-pixel-illumination display mode. At night it gives out a dull glow which is even better. The standard screen, of course, looks like a bright phone display. All in all, an excellent buy!!
Good quality product. But the strap is too small. Wouldn't suggest this to anyone with broad wrists. I'm having to give mine away cause it's not going to fit me ! Really surprising for an American company to build straps this small. Even the extra links won't suffice. Anyway to increase the size ? I'm not sure if moto 360 2nd gen straps have been launched in india. Couldn't find them on flipkart.
After a lot of R&D before spending Rs. 20-25k for a watch I had a few options like - LG Urbane, Moto 360 - 2nd Gen, Asus Zenwatch 2, Samsung Gear 2.... and selected Moto 360 - 2nd Gen.... well in between R&D and selections, a lot of things to consider... those are - First of all kudos to Flipkart and WS retail for fantastic, hassle free service, however I would have liked to get a bit discount but good things come at good price and if Flipkart needs to survive and serve us in future, they need to earn profit, hence no issues for no discount. Now the watch... I guess everyone knows the watch in detail...I'll only tell about the misconceptions about the watch... 1. People say, metal strap is very small (22mm strap for 46mm diameter watch) and does not fit. Guys, Motorola gives extra buckles for your bigger wrist. There are three more clips which you can tie up ti increase the strap length. Just go to any local watch shop and get that done. Hence, no problem with the strap. 2. Its vibrate a bit less, hence you may need to a bit alert. But manageable. 3. Battery is superb and no issue with that. 4. Trust me, 46mm is huuuuge... My friends say I have bigggg wrist and in my wrist also, the watch is covering my wrist fully!!!! I think the watch is mostly made, keeping in mind European or American hand. You can still be fine with 42mm... seriously!! Enjoy the watch... Cheers!!
I have been using this watch for two days. Let me add some quotes before starting my review. 1. "Wearables aren't just about spec sheets and benchmarks." 2. "Compromises are part of good product design" 3. "Kuch chiize dil mein aati hai, samjh mein nahi." Alright, First of all... This is one heck of a *BEAUTIFUL WATCH*, and that's just enough reason to buy it ! you can skip the rest of the review. Anyways still a bit of technical details. 1. If you are male, buy the large version, smaller version won't look good on hand. BE A MAN MY FRIEND. 2. Flat tire? don't, just dont worry about it, Refer quote 2. Ambient light sensor is very very important especially when you are using the watch at night and toddling in well and bad illuminated areas. Non- self adjusting watches will be annoying and will cause an itch of tension about battery in your head. and Flat tire does'nt bother a bit to me. 3. You find other watches with higher resolution attractive?.. 233 ppi is actually enough, well balanced between good display , refresh rate and battery consumption. Higher resolution might make devices lag. And lag is bad for blood pressure. 4. I wish RAM were 1GB. But 512 it ok. RAM hungry apps in Future might cause problems though. 5. Quad core 1.2Ghz.. The raw power hungry hacker geeks are mouth watering i guess. 6. Wifi is there, though it gives some sort of independence from phone, but only few apps prefer directly going to wifi. wifi consumes battery and Android wear seems to be power saving it. Wifi is huge advantage though. 7. If ever, Google Now will find REAL utility, it will be in smart watch really. Voice recognization is good. Over next few years when android wear upgrades, it will become more efficient and power saving, For now App store is pretty empty. A WORD OF CAUTION: A smart Watch wont bring much of a utility addition. Everything can actually be done on your phone. but you know, Refer Quote-3.
