Vivo V19 has launched in India after going through a couple of delays due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent nation-wide lockdown that prohibited smartphone manufacturers to operate normally. The V19 was announced in April and comes with dual selfie cameras, Snapdragon 712 processor and fast charging support.
Let’s take a brief look at the specifications, pricing and availability of Vivo V19.
Vivo V19 starts at Rs 27,990 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 31,990 for the 256GB storage option. It is available in two colours-- Mystic Silver and Piano Black with the sale commencing from May 15 on Amazon India, Flipkart and Vivo India Store.
Vivo V19 has a metal-glass design that measures 8.5mm at its thickest point with the phone weighing close to 186 grams. It features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display that uses a Super AMOLED panel with dual-punch-hole cutout for two front-facing cameras that give it a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes fitted with an optical fingerprint reader for fast unlock.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. This is paired with 8GB RAM with up to 256GB storage options to choose from along with support for a microSD card for storage expansion.
The V19 has a quad-camera setup that consists of a primary 48MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera setup can shoot in 4K UHD at 30fps. On the front, there’s a 32MP primary selfie camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera housed within the punch-hole notch cutout.
Vivo V19 has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging out-of-the-box, courtesy of Vivo Flash Charge 2.0.
