Meizu is set to unveil the M6 Note in China a couple of days from now on August 23. However, the device has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of launch. The listing gives us a glimpse as to what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. The Meizu M6 Note is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm octa-core chipset clocked at 2.02GHz, which is most likely the Snapdragon 625. The listing also suggests that the phone may offer 4GB of RAM and run Android Nougat v7.1.2. The phone scored 848 on the single core test and 4215 on the multi core test.

A few days ago, Ard Boudeling told Android Authority that the processor on the M6 Note might surprise a lot of people and “offer a vast improvement in performance and efficiency compared to the previous generation.” The company is one of the few manufacturers yet to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform on its devices. It previously used MediaTek and Exynos processors on its devices.

The Meizu M6 Note is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display and be available in two storage variants. One of the variants is tipped to offer 3GB RAM/32GB storage and the other is expected to offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The rear panel of the device was also leaked a while back and suggested that the phone may come with a dual-rear cameras stacked vertically. It also suggests that the phone may sport a quad-LED flash setup integrated within the antenna band. The Meizu M6 Note is expected to start at CNY 1599, which is roughly Rs 15,300. The company had launched the M5 Note in December last year.
