ZTE Axon 7s with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 unveiled in China

ZTE has unveiled an updated version of its Axon 7 smartphone called the Axon 7s. The new smartphone comes with an emphasis and security and in its press release, the company states that the smartphone is aimed at government offices where privacy and security are vital. However, the company has not revealed all of the details of the smartphone, only that it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 platform.

To recall, the ZTE Axon 7 was unveiled in May last year and sports a 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED display. The original device was powered by the Snapdragon 820 platform and was available in two variants. The standard version offered 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the premium version offered 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. At the back of the device, is a 20MP camera with a f/1.8 aperture lens, while at the front is an 8MP camera. The device is equipped with a 3250mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and runs MiFavor4.0 based on Android Marshmallow. In November, the company launched an upgraded version of the smartphone with a pressure sensitive display.
