This year’s model is touted to be powered by the 10th gen Intel processors.
The updated RedmiBook will launch on August 29. The Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro are launching on the same day in China. Redmi claims that the new RedmiBook 14 will bring a performance boost of 13 percent. The announcement was shared in a post on the official Mi Notebook Weibo account. It indicates that the RedmiBook 14 will be launched in multiple colour variants.
Gizmochina says, “We do not know if this processor is one of the 10nm Ice Lake CPUs or one of the 14nm Comet lake CPUs that were announced last week. What we do know is that the 10th Gen RedmiBook 14 computer will cost more than the top-end model powered (Core i7 + 512GB SSD) by an 8th Gen processor which is priced at ¥4999 (~$704).”

The original RedmiBook 14 featured a 14-inch ultra-narrow full-HD display with 178° wide viewing angle and 250 nits brightness, 8GB RAM with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics.
