Not every laptop user cares for long battery life or HDMI connectivity. Some prefer good audio over other qualities. Such users typically spend a lot of time watching videos and playing music. If you’re one such user, consider the following laptop models. They all have dual upward-firing speakers that offer notable sound quality and noticeable stereo separation. They also come with a bright screen that’s fit for long hours of video playback. Please note that we at Digit recommend the following products based purely on their specifications and availability on Amazon.in.

HP Pavilion x360

Like many of HP’s offerings, the Pavilion x360 sports dual base-mounted speakers that fire upwards. Certified by Danish sound company Bang & Olufsen, they deliver stereo sound. Even though the Pavilion x360’s screen has a rather low resolution of 1366x768 pixels, it’s up to the task of playing videos at multiple angles, including tent mode and tablet mode. Its 256GB solid-state drive, on the other hand, ensures the laptop always reports quick boot times and application launch times.

Lenovo Yoga C640

Lenovo’s newest mid-range convertible laptop comes with top-firing speakers on either side of its keyboard and the promise of “rich, layered sound”. It also comes bundled with the Dolby Atmos app, which has options to tweak the equaliser for movie watching, music listening, etc. The Yoga C640 also comes with Intel’s latest 10th Gen CPUs along with 8GB of RAM, which makes it ideal for hours of idle browsing on the internet. Its 13.3-inch Full HD screen is both bright and colourful for indoor use.

Apple MacBook Air

Apple has generally been held in high regard for including high-quality audiovisual components in its products. The MacBook Air has upward-firing speakers on either side of its keyboard, which are both loud and clear for headphone-free audio delivery. The MacBook Air is also a great device for work. Powered by Intel’s 8th Gen CPUs, it has ample memory and fast solid-state storage for intense browsing sessions and light image editing. Apple offers the MacBook Air in as many as three attractive colourways.

HP Envy x360

Like its brethren, the HP Envy x360 features dual base-mounted speakers that fire upwards. Certified by Bang & Olufsen, they deliver stereo sound. In addition, the laptop has a Full HD touchscreen panel that can be folded all the way back into tablet mode. The HP Envy x360 is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor, which is combined with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of solid-state storage. This setup allows the user to get everyday work, such as intense browsing and spreadsheet editing, done without any hassles.
