When you have a high-end PC, it only makes sense that you invest in a pair of speakers that deliver a power-packed audio experience. It usually isn’t feasible to fit a 5.1 setup around your PC and good old computer speakers may not cut it for you. Thankfully, there are powered bookshelf speakers that not only pack in quite a punch but also have a compact enough form factor to sit on your computer table. Some of these speakers look like computer speakers whereas others have a slightly more commanding stance. JBL 104

The JBL 104 comes with a 4.5-inch driver and a 0.75-inch tweeter to deliver 60-watts of sound output. They have a compact design which is not only perfect for a desktop setup but also fits well when kept with a laptop. On the front, the speaker has a volume knob along with a headphones port and an aux port to connect devices like an MP3 player or a smartphone. It has inputs and a power port behind the master speaker and connects to the second speaker via a cable. It is designed for a personalized desktop experience. 

Klipsch R-41PM

The Klipsch R-41PM comes with a host of connectivity options to connect to virtually any device you have. They not only work with your PC or laptop but can also connect to your TV or smartphone as well. The speakers come with 1-inch aluminium LTS tweeters and 4-inch Spun-Copper IMG Woofers. They are fairly large and come with a removable grill so you can choose to expose the drivers or hide them based on your aesthetic design choice. For connectivity, it has a USB port, optical out, aux-in and line in. It also has a separate port for a subwoofer if you want to add the extra thump. You get a host of cables along with a remote control in the box. 

Bose Companion 2 Series III

The Bose Companion 2 Series III has a simple design and will fit well in a company PC setup. It has a simple volume knob in the front along with a headphones port. At the back, the device has a port to connect the 2 speakers, a power port, aux-in and a port to connect your PC or laptop. The speaker claims to have a wide soundstage and performance catering to music, games and video playback. 

Mackie CR4BT

The Mackie CR4BT comes with a simple design. The speaker has a wooden enclosure. At the front, the speaker has the volume knob and Bluetooth button along with headphones jack and aux-in port. At the back, we have 2 input ports along with the power button and a connection port for the second speaker.

There is also a toggle which lets you choose whether the primary speaker is on the left or the right giving you more flexibility when setting up. In the box, you get a pair of foam feet to help prevent vibrations and angle the speakers just the way you like it. The speaker comes with a 4-inch woofer and 0.75-inch tweeter.
