Giving 1 star just for the product! They installed and showed us the demo, the AC worked fine and then when we tried starting the AC, the fan of the compressor never moved! Raised the ticket with Whirpool, wrote a number of mails, made so many calls to various people at Whirpool, tweeted a lot, wrote so many Facebook messages, filed a complaint with consumer court and then after 1 month and 2 days, the outdoor unit was replaced! These all happened durin the peak Summer in May 2018 and my product is well under warranty!! I would never recommend any Whirpool products to anyone! They are the worst when it comes to customer service!

AC seems to be working OK so far, only problem noticed so far is the shutter in the front makes too much noise, disturbs sleep when it is moving, if it is in sleep mode it does not move then it is OK. Other than that AC is Good. Value for money. Poor Installation by Whirlpool. Low standard of installation and i think they arrange installation from third party company and they try to cheat me by asking Rs 1500 just for the stands which costs from Rs 600 to 900. and finally after arguing and by calling Amazon they agreed for Rs 900. The worst part was when i said the stands costs less than Rs 1000, they wanted to just leave without installing talking very arrogantly. So if you buy Whirlpool AC's don't expect good installation by their team even though they claim it is free installation they try to get Rs 1500 when they come for installation. Please watch out. As usual Amazon customer support was excellent when i called them about this issue and they helped at their level best with the installation.
Installation Service is very poor and Big Headache.Still Electrical fitting I need to get it done.Better not to go by looking into the word "free installation".Spend 7000 in Installation. Not Expected this from whirlpool team.
Every thing as expected. Overall unit, pricing and installation. Looks pretty nice as well. Installation guys might want to charge you bit here and there but that is not much. I was skeptic if 1 ton will be sufficient for my room but it is pretty good. I skipped installing stabilizer as well on recommendation from installation guy. I would recommend going for 1 ton AC for decent size rooms since it saves you electricity as well. Based on limited observation. Will update if there are any changes.
The AC is good but the whirlpool installation guys are just unprofessional and unethical. They charged me total of 3800 for 2 mtrs of copper tube extra other than 3 mtrs which came with AC and an outdoor unit stand. Though the standard installation came free, they have charged this much and did not leave despite argument with them. Whirlpool is engaging these kind of thugs for installation.
Whirlpool AC is really nice. It cools the room very quickly and silently, 6th Sense and power saver feature is really awesome. Faced some issues with the order but got it resolved with the help of Amazon Customer Service. If you are looking for nice Inverter AC then go for it without any doubt. I have got very good service from Whirlpool service center for installation.
