Indian Railways launches RailOne: One app for tickets, chart details, train status, complaints and more
RailOne combines IRCTC, UTS, Rail Madad, and train enquiry services into one app.
New features include advance chart preparation, verified Tatkal bookings, and Aadhaar/DigiLocker-based authentication.
The backend upgrade enables 1.5 lakh bookings and 4 million enquiries per minute, with multilingual and accessibility support.
Indian Railways has finally introduced a new mobile application called RailOne, a unified supper app using which the users will be able to do key rail-related tasks. The new app aims to simplify the travel experience and replace the need to head to multiple apps and websites by integrating services like ticket booking, real-time train tracking, complaint redressal and more. It has a clean and simple user interface.
SurveyThe new RailOne app is available on both iOS and Android and brings together the slew of services which were previously scattered across platforms like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS, Rail Madad, and the National Train Enquiry System.
Using the new application, the passengers can now book reserved and unreserved tickets, purchase platform tickets, track PNR status, check train and coach positions, and even submit feedback, all within a single interface.

For payments, it also includes R-Wallet, Indian Railways’ own digital wallet, and allows for biometric and mPIN logins. If you are an existing user of RailConnect or UTSonMobile, you can log in seamlessly using your current credentials, thanks to the app’s single sign-on (SSO) feature. If you do not travel regularly, you can also login via guest logins via mobile OTP authentication, making it easier to access services without mandatory account creation.

The new features including advance chart preparation, final reservation charts (prepared 8 hours before departure), early chart preparation for early morning trains, tatkal booking (only for verified users), verification with Aadhaar or DigiLocker-based authentication, enhanced reservation infrastructure and major upgrade to the backend reservation system will increase capacity tenfold.
The new app will be able to support up to 150,000 reservations per minute and process 4 million enquiries per minute. It will now support multiple languages and include special provisions for Divyangjan (persons with disabilities), students, and patients.
